Abstract:In this paper, the exact solution and time-evolution operator for the system with a su(1,1)(+(s)h(4) Hamiltonian are found by making use of Lewis-Riesenfeld quantum theory. The time-evolution operator is then used to derive the Aharonov-Anandan phase. Finally, the noncylclic evolution is discussed with the help of the Aharonov-Anandan phase and the Berry phase is calculated by taking the adiabatic limit.

Abstract:For investigating dynamic evolution of a mass-varying harmonic oscillator we constitute a ket-bra integration operator in coherent state representation and then perform this integral by virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators. Abstract:Operator algebra techniques are employed to derive the quantum evolution operator for the harmonic oscillator. The derivation begins with the construction of the annihilation and creation operators and the determination of the wave function for the coherent state as well as its time-dependent evolution, and ends with the transformation of the propagator in a mixed position-coherent-state representation to the desired one in configuration space. Throughout the entire procedure, besides elementary operator manipulations, it is only necessary to solve linear differential equations and to calculate Gaussian integrals.

Abstract:By splitting a Hamiltonian into two parts, using the solvability of eigenvalue problem of one part of the Hamiltonian, proving a useful identity and deducing an expansion formula of power of operator binomials, we obtain an explicit and general form of time evolution operator in the representation of solvable part of the Hamiltonian. Further we find out an exact solution of Schrodinger equation in a general time-independent quantum system, and write down its concrete form when the solvable part of this Hamiltonian is taken as the kinetic energy term. Comparing our exact solution with the usual perturbation theory makes some features and significance of our solution clear. Moreover, through deriving out the improved forms of the zeroth, first, second and third order perturbed solutions including the partial contributions from the higher order even all order approximations, we obtain the improved transition probability. In special, we propose the revised Fermi's golden rule. Then we apply our scheme to obtain the improved forms of perturbed energy and perturbed state. In addition, we study an easy understanding example to illustrate our scheme and show its advantage. All of this implies the physical reasons and evidences why our exact solution and perturbative scheme are formally explicit, actually calculable, operationally efficient, conclusively more accurate. Therefore our exact solution and perturbative scheme can be thought of theoretical developments of quantum dynamics. Further applications of our results in quantum theory can be expected.

Abstract:For developing quantum mechanics theory in phase space, we explore how the Wigner operator Δ (α ,α ^∗ )≡1/π :e^-2(α ^∗ -α ^†)(α -α ) :, when viewed as a quasi-density operator correponding to the Wigner quasiprobability distribution, evolves in a damping channel. with the damping constant κ . We derive that it evolves into 1/T + 1:exp2/T + 1[-(α^∗ e^-κ t-a^† )(α e^-κ t-a)]: where T ≡ 1 − e − 2 κ t . This in turn helps to directly obtain the final state ρ ( t ) out of the dessipative channel from the initial classical function corresponding to initial ρ (0). Throught the work, the method of integration within ordered product (IWOP) of operators is employed.

Abstract:We show that the time-dependent two-mode Fresnel operator is just the time-evolutional unitary operator governed by the Hamiltonian composed of quadratic combination of canonical operators in the way of exhibiting SU（1,1） algebra. This is an approach for obtaining the time-dependent Hamiltonian from the preassigned time evolution in classical phase space, an approach which is in contrast to Lewis-Riesenfeld’s invariant operator theory of treating timedependent harmonic oscillators.

Abstract:A variety of dynamics in nature and society can be approximately treated as a driven and damped parametric oscillator. An intensive investigation of this time-dependent model from an algebraic point of view provides a consistent method to resolve the classical dynamics and the quantum evolution in order to understand the time-dependent phenomena that occur not only in the macroscopic classical scale for the synchronized behaviors but also in the microscopic quantum scale for a coherent state evolution. By using a Floquet U-transformation on a general time-dependent quadratic Hamiltonian, we exactly solve the dynamic behaviors of a driven and damped parametric oscillator to obtain the optimal solutions by means of invariant parameters of Ks to combine with Lewis–Riesenfeld invariant method. This approach can discriminate the external dynamics from the internal evolution of a wave packet by producing independent parametric equations that dramatically facilitate the parametric control on the quantum state evolution in a dissipative system. In order to show the advantages of this method, several time-dependent models proposed in the quantum control field are analyzed in detail.

Abstract:The evolution of states of a time-dependent quantum system can be supposed to be the propagation of a matter wave beam along the time coordinate. The beam width, divergence, curvature radius, quality factor and entropy were introduced to represent the matter wave beam. For a quantum system with a conservative beam-quality factor, the evolutions of position operator and momentum operator are linear, the propagator is of the ABCD formulation, and the formulation of the minimum wave packet, of which the quality factor is unity, is time-independent. The applications of these to quantum systems of constant potential and oscillators were also discussed.

Abstract:As is well known, the evolution of quantum state can be replaced by its Wigner function's time evolution. The Wigner function of a quantum state is the same as the density matrix of a quantum state, because they both contain many messages, such as the probability distribution and phases. Thus, the important information about the quantum state in the evolution process can be obtained more quickly and effectively by studying the Wigner function of a quantum state. In this paper, based on the classical diffusion equation, the diffusion equation of the quantum state density operator is derived by using the P representation of the density operator. Furthermore, by introducing the Weyl ordering symbol of the quantum operator, the corresponding Weyl quantization scheme is given. In addition, the evolution equation of Wigner operator in diffusion channel is established by using another phase space representation of density operator-Wigner function, and the solution form of Wigner operator is given. In this paper, we derive the evolution law of Wigner operator in quantum diffusion channel for the first time, that is, the form of Wigner operator at any time in the evolution process. Based on this conclusion, the evolution of coherent states through quantum diffusion channels is discussed.

Abstract:We propose a stochastic Schrödinger equation in which the momentum is coupled to a white Gaussian noise. In the stochastic representation, the kinetic energy representing the self-interaction of momentum is reduced to a linear term of momentum. As such, the quantum evolution operator factorizes into two contributions due to the momentum and the potential, respectively. The exact quantum propagator thereby becomes an expectation of the stochastic one in which the amplitude results from the potential with a fluctuating position: The particle moves with a constant velocity, subjected to a complex Brownian motion. We demonstrate that the stochastic Schrödinger equation can be feasibly used to derive the quantum propagators for the linear potential and the harmonic oscillator system. Novel semiclassical and other approximations may be developed from the new representation of quantum mechanics.

Abstract:By virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators we derive the normally ordered expansion of time evolution operator for the case of a central oscillator immersed in a heat bath composed of a large number of oscillators. The time evolution of the system and heat bath into coherent states is discussed based on energy conservation. As a by-product, the partition function of two coupled oscillators is also calculated in this way.

Abstract:We present a virtual time evolution-split operator method for solving the tw o-dimensional time-dependent Schr?dinger equation.In this method,the Hamiltonian is accessed by employing the two representations of the wave function.One is a coordinate representation,in which the coordinate de-pendence of the wave function is discretized using a discrete variable constructed from the Coulomb wave function.Another is the momentum representation,the time function is expanded in the corresponding lattice.As an example,the present method is applied to the harmonic oscillator.It is found that there exists Coulomb interaction when two electrons are stored in the harmonic oscillator potential well.We explore the qualitative change of two electrons ground state wave function by altering the strength of the harmonic oscillator potential.When harmonic oscillator potential is weak,the wave functions are not o-verlapped,w hich can be used as an evidence for presentence of Wingner lattice.With the increase of harmonic oscillator potential,the wave functions begin to overlap,which is similar to the molecules for-mation.

Abstract:In this article the time evolution operator of two interacting quantum oscillators, whose Hamiltonian is an element of the complex $\left\{ h(1) \oplus h(1) \right\} \uplus u(2)$ algebra, is analyzed using the Feynman time ordering operator techniques. This method is consistently used to generate the conditions and to formally find explicit disentangled expressions for such operator. In this way, it is shown that all the problem reduces to solve a complex Riccati-type differential equation. Some closed solutions to this differential equation are found and then concrete disentangling expressions for the time-ordered evolution operator are given. Finally, the time evolution of the coherent states linked to the isotropic 2D quantum oscillator are analyzed under alternative time-independent an time-dependent Hamiltonian systems.
