Abstract:In this paper, we use Aleksandrov's reflection principle to prove symmetry of solutions to F(∇Sn2u+uI)=f(u,u2+|∇Snu|2), where u is the support function of a convex body, and F is a function of principal radii. As a corollary, alongside [Ivaki, arXiv:2307.06252], we provide an alternative proof of the uniqueness of solution to the isotropic Gaussian-Minkowski problem.

Abstract:The non-diagonal solutions to the reflection equation of 15 vertex model A(1) 2 model and supersymmetric t-J model were obtained. The results show that solutions of A(1) 2 model' have three forms and each form contains two solutions; the solution of supersymmetric t-J model' takes only one form in which there are two solutions; each one of all those nondiagonal solutions only have three arbitr ary parameters.

Abstract:In this article, we investigate the problem of panoramic image reflection removal to relieve the content ambiguity between the reflection layer and the transmission scene. Although a partial view of the reflection scene is attainable in the panoramic image and provides additional information for reflection removal, it is not trivial to directly apply this for getting rid of undesired reflections due to its misalignment with the reflection-contaminated image. We propose an end-to-end framework to tackle this problem. By resolving misalignment issues with adaptive modules, the high-fidelity recovery of reflection layer and transmission scenes is accomplished. We further propose a new data generation approach that considers the physics-based formation model of mixture images and the in-camera dynamic range clipping to diminish the domain gap between synthetic and real data. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and its applicability for mobile devices and industrial applications.

Abstract:The exact solution of the A2(2) model (or the Izergin–Korepin model) with non-diagonal boundary reflections of the type I is studied by using the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method. The complete operator product identities of the transfer matrices are obtained with the help of fusion. Based on them and the asymptotic behaviors as well as the values at special points, the inhomogeneous T−Q relations of the system are constructed. The method and the results in this paper can be generalized to the high rank An(2) case directly.

Abstract:We obtain the general solutions to the reflection equation of the Izergin-Korepin model. The general solutions have two free parameters and will reduce to the non-trivial diagonal solutions when both free parameters vanish. It will also reduce to the solutions with upper-lower triangular structures when one of the parameters vanishes. Moreover, the Hamiltonian with boundary terms for the system is obtained.

Abstract:In this letter, we propose a parametrized model reduction method based on integral equations to analyze the scattering problem of array structures. The method utilizes the equivalence principle algorithm to solve each array element through volume surface integral equations, and transfers the unknowns to equivalence surfaces. Subsequently, the reduced basis method is employed to construct orthogonal subspaces for the desired parameters. By applying the reduced basis on the equivalence surfaces, a parametrized reduced model can be generated. This approach enables efficient computation of scattering solutions for varying parameters such as frequency, material properties, and the angle of incident wave. Numerical examples demonstrate the accuracy of the method while significantly reducing computation time and memory requirements.

Abstract:In recent years, with the development of 3D data acquisition equipments, the study on reverse engineering has become more and more important. However, the existing methods for parameterization can hardly ensure that the parametric domain is rectangular, and the parametric curve grid is regular. In order to overcome these limitations, we present a novel method for parameterization of triangular meshes in this paper. The basic idea is twofold: first, because the isotherms in the steady temperature do not intersect with each other, and are distributed uniformly, no singularity (fold-over) exists in the parameterization; second, a 3D harmonic equation is solved by the finite element method to obtain the steady temperature field on a 2D triangular mesh surface with four boundaries. Therefore, our proposed method avoids the embarrassment that it is impossible to solve the 2D quasi-harmonic equation on the 2D triangular mesh without the parametric values at mesh vertices. Furthermore, the isotherms on the temperature field are taken as a set of iso-parametric curves on the triangular mesh surface. The other set of iso-parametric curves can be obtained by connecting the points with the same chord-length on the isotherms sequentially. The obtained parametric curve grid is regular, and distributed uniformly, and can map the triangular mesh surface to the unit square domain with boundaries of mesh surface to boundaries of parametric domain, which ensures that the triangular mesh surface or point cloud can be fitted with the NURBS surface.

Abstract:A novel iteration scheme for solving consistent linear equations is introduced by exploring the circumcenter of a n-dimensional triangle formed with a starting point and its reflections across two hyperplanes. The proposed method, akin to the block Kaczmarz method, provides optimal linear combination within two subspaces. The convergence rate in expectation is also addressed in detail if the row is selected with probability proportional to p -norm of residuals. Numerical experiments demonstrate its superiority over randomized Kaczmarz and reflection methods, particularly evident as highly coherent rows. Performance are enhanced by proper parameter-tuning of p .

Then we construct a multi-particle eigenvector for the model and diagonalize the transfer matrix by using the nested Bethe ansatz. Abstract:Reflectance model is a basic concept in computer vision. Some existing models combining the classical diffuse reflectance model and those for surfaces containing specular components can approximately describe real reflectance. But the ratio of diffuse and specular reflection decided manually has no clear meaning. We propose a new polynomial hybrid reflectance model. The reflectance map equation with a known shape (for example cylinder) as a sample is used to estimate parameters of the proposed reflectance model by least square regression algorithm. Then the reflectance parameters for surfaces of the same class of materials can be determined. Experiments are performed for a metal surface. The synthesis images produced by the proposed method and existing ones are compared with the real acquired image, and the results show that the proposed reflectance model is suitable for describing real reflectance.

Abstract:We derive the solutions of the boundary Yang-Baxter equation associated with a supersymmetric nineteen vertex model constructed from the three-dimensional representation of the twisted quantum affine Lie superalgebra $U_{q}[\mathrm{osp}\left(2|2\right)^{\left(2\right)}]\simeq U_{q}[C\left(2\right)^{\left(2\right)}]$. We found three classes of solutions. The type I solution is characterized by three boundary free-parameters and all elements of the corresponding reflection $K$-matrix are different from zero. In the type II solution, the reflection $K$-matrix is even (every element of the $K$-matrix with an odd parity is null) and it has only one boundary free-parameter. Finally, the type III solution corresponds to a diagonal reflection $K$-matrix with two boundary free-parameters.

Abstract:We investigate the inverse scattering transform for the Schrödinger-type equation under zero boundary conditions with the Riemann–Hilbert (RH) approach. In the direct scattering process, the properties are given, such as Jost solutions, asymptotic behaviors, analyticity, the symmetries of the Jost solutions and the corresponding spectral matrix. In the inverse scattering process, the matrix RH problem is constructed for this integrable equation base on analyzing the spectral problem. Then, the reconstruction formula of potential and trace formula are also derived correspondingly. Thus, N double-pole solutions of the nonlinear Schrödinger-type equation are obtained by solving the RH problems corresponding to the reflectionless cases. Furthermore, we present a single double-pole solution by taking some parameters, and it is analyzed in detail.

Abstract:We solve the A2n(2) vertex model with all kinds of diagonal reflecting matrices by using the algebraic Bethe ansatz, which includes constructing the multi-particle states and achieving the eigenvalue of the transfer matrix and corresponding Bethe ansatz equations. When the model is Uq(Bn) quantum invariant, our conclusion agrees with that obtained by analytic Bethe ansatz method.
