Abstract:An improved method is presented for determining the time-domain response of nonuniform transmission line. Without using the abrupt transient models and transformation between the frequency domain and time domain, direct analysis of the time-domain response can be made for nonlinear loads and non-zero initial conditions. Accuracy and speed of calculation are thus improved.
