Abstract:Under downhole technics, the communication's problems and requirement in the Offshore Wireless CPT beneath ocean are illustrated. The advantage and adaptation of the ICL in this project, and its relative application context are analysed. ICL principle and relative parameters are emphatically discussed, and ICL model had been designed. Experiments demonstrate that ICL connection suffices the project.

Abstract:Aiming at the problems such as the increase of electricity demand,the construction of a smart grid with stable transmission capacity and reasonable economy,it is proposed that the advanced 4G mobile communication technology be combined with the electric power authorization band to help build an intelligent distribution network.According to the actual requirements,SPM model is used to calibrate the wireless communication model parameters of the smart grid,and the reasonable planning of the wireless network is realized by improving the accuracy of the communication model so as to reduce the investment cost of the smart grid wireless communication.Through the evaluation and testing of the parameters of the communication model of TD-LTE230 power wireless special system and the signal strength simulation coverage,the good application effect is achieved,which lays the foundation for the modular application of wireless communication in the smart grid.

Abstract:The paper analyzed development requirements of communication system of coal mine in China and existed problems of main communication technologies of coal mine at present, and proposed a scheme of wireless communication system of integration of underground and surface based on TD-SCDMA. It introduced networking structure and functions of the system. The test result showed that the system can seamlessly cover underground operation area, surface dispatching control area and living area, which not only can meet with communication requirements of safety production but also realize command and dispatching under special situation.

Abstract:Because the communication mechanism and the applied filed of the civil digital walkie-talkie (DWT) are different to the traditional walkie-talkie's, the signaling technology of the traditional walkie-talkie can't be applied to the civil DWT. So the signaling technology of civil DWT must be designed renewedly. This paper analyzes the call loss ratio and delay of the civil DWT, and brings forward a signaling structure (N+1). In addition, this paper introduces the signaling technology of implementing single call senice, group call senice, broadcast senice and short message service especially. And then how to use the SDL tools to implement the signaling technology is addressed in detail. At last, this paper introduces the process of using VC and SDL language to build a test bench to validate the proposed signaling protocol. ©2006 IEEE.

Abstract:A method is proposed about the design of a novel wireless narrow-band communication system.The method is based on digital source coding and digital channel coding.The method employs techniques such as two-point modulation and second modulation,which is compatible with the standard of Digital Private Mobile Radio(DPMR).The method is implemented through research and development.The result of experiments shows that the receiving sensitivity of the system reaches -110 dBm.The system can meet the demands of long-distance voice communication or long-distance data communication with medium or low bit rate.

Abstract:The differences between the digital trunking system and the cellular system were introduced, The feasibility of the digital trunking system based on CDMA was discussed. A discussion of the implementation scheme for the digital trunking system based on CDMA was made. By adopting typical WCDMA link parameter a theoretical analysis for system margin was given. Abstract:Different from most other researches focused on wideband radio channel characteristics, this paper presents a large-scale field-test campaign with WCDMA-FDD system, whose system equipment configuration strictly conforms to the specifications of 3GPP R99 and requirements of C3G (China 3(rd) generation) mobile communication system. Three different areas in Beijing are tested, representing three kinds of typical urban propagation environment in China. Based on the ample measurement data such as multipath power delay profile, signal envelope fading and channel SIR (Signal-to-interference ratio), we classify the tested radio channels and analyze their channel characteristics in detail.

Abstract:An algorithm of codeword design for linear disperse coding (LDC) was studied in distributed wireless communication systems (DWCS).Due to the destruction of the condition for traditional codeword design,traditional LDC is not suitable for DWCS.Hence,an algorithm of codeword design for distributed linear disperse coding (D-LDC) was proposed.Making use of the nonidentity of the big scale fading between mobile stations and base stations,the proposed algorithm was suitable for cooperative communication systems with multiple antennas distributed in various geographical locations.The complexity of D-LDC codeword design was reduced by following the criterion of minimum correlativity of linear transformation matrix.Simulation results in a single cell indicate that D-LDC can provide better performance than traditional LDCs.

Abstract:This paper presents a systematic solution to enable the code division duplex (CDD) system that allows the uplink- and downlink channel to work on the same frequency at the same time but with different smart codes. CDD is considered to be most spectral efficient among all other duplex systems. However, in comparison with the frequency division duplex (FDD) system, a CDD mobile station (MS) receiver can suffer from an additional interference transmitted from other MSs in its vicinity, and the Base Station (BS) receiver can suffer from another additional interference delivered from the BS transmitter. Also the BS may have interference caused by the neighboring BS. In the proposed system, the MS to MS interference is reduced using a scheduling method which separates the desired MS from the interference MSs in distance, and the BS to BS interference is effectively alleviated by the use of distributed receive antennas and, furthermore, it can be reduced by the proposed interference cancellation technique. The theoretical calculations show that the CDD system has about twice large capacity compared to the FDD system.

Abstract:TD-SCDMA, proposed by China Wireless Telecommunications Standard Group (CWTS), is the low chip rate (LCR) TDD CDMA proposal in 3G. The Internet services will generate highly asymmetric data flow. The aim of TD-SCDMA downlink packet access (HSDPA) is to provide very high packet throughput and low packet delay in the downlink using the newly introduced high speed downlink shared channel (HS-DSCH). This paper presents the methodology we used to model HSDPA for TD-SCDMA in OPNET.

Abstract:To satisfy ever-increasing demands for higher data rates, as well as to allow more users to simultaneously access the network, interest has peaked in what has come to be known as wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA). We discuss those basic characteristics of WCDMA waveforms that make them attractive for high data rate transmission over wireless and mobile channels. We emphasize how the choice of spread bandwidth affects the bit error rate of the system, as well as how it affects the reliability of various subsystems, such as those that perform coarse acquisition and adaptive power control. We then discuss how some of the waveforms being considered for cellular WCDMA systems differ from those in use in the narrowband CDMA cellular system, and emphasize, as an example, multicarrier CDMA. Finally, we discuss other potential enhancements to WCDMA systems, such as the use of interference suppression at the receiver, or multiple antennas at the transmitter.

Abstract:In this paper, we focus on the uplink performances in TDD-CDMA distributed wireless communication system (DWCS). First, the uplink capacity and load factor are analyzed in theory. Then a model is established to estimate interference increase due to a new or handoff user. Next an admission control algorithm is proposed based on the model. The simulation results show that MUD and array element number have a great impact on the performance of the proposed algorithm and the proposed admission control algorithm can promote the system performance effectively if proper noise rise threshold is set.

Abstract:As a candidate of the next generation radio access architecture, Distributed wireless communication system (DWCS) can expand system capacity over traditional cellular system. This paper makes a research on the call admission control (CAC) in DWCS employing DS-CDMA. Three CAC schemes are proposed: The first scheme is based on the real-time SIR received by the VBS; the second is based on the average SIR received by the antennas interfered by the new call; the third is based on the average SIR received by the antennas of the new call's VC. It is verified by simulation that the third scheme outperforms the other two. And based on the third scheme, we unify the different service residual capacities into the reference service residual capacity to adapt to the condition of multi-service coexisting, which can impose more convenience and flexibility on the CAC in DWCS.

Abstract:Research on next generation wireless communications integrated with current wireline networks is a potential issue considered worldwide. A novel wireless system, called distributed wireless communication system (DWCS), is proposed. Logically, it is divided into four layers. They are distributed antennas, a distributed fiber-optic transmission network, distributed processing network and a distributed core network. To support different radio access standards, the distributed processing network is realized with a software radio technique. Also, some new concepts, such virtual cell and virtual tunnel is proposed for DWCS. It is foreseen that the DWCS has three phases of development and how it conforms with the Internet is considered. Thus, the DWCS is a system that depends not only on wireless technologies, but also on Internet technologies. In terms of our description, the DWCS has the characteristics of an open distributed system with flexibility, scalability and expansibility.

Abstract:Code Division Multiple Access(CDMA) becomes the core technology of the third generation mobile communication by its various advantages.In this paper,CDMA communication theory based on standard IS-95 are introduced firstly.The structure of the forward and backward channel is analyzed.Then the Simulink of MATLAB is used to build models of the function modules and carry out simulation analysis in visual form.Finally,a set of CDMA dynamic simulation system of forward business channel is designed,the operating mode and processing procedure of CDMA systems are given in detail.At the same time,the error rate characteristics and anti-jamming capability under different channel environments are analyzed.

Abstract:The operating features of wire and wireless communication modes used in tele-control system are the technologies of Access Point Name service,Virtual Private Network and IPSec security authentication to protect the system security in all aspects,applies the technologies of dual-network and protocol checksum retransfer to ensure the reliability of network data conununication,and adopts the smart sub-packet transfer mode to improve the real-time performance of system. The site test shows its extremely low error rate and communication lag,satisfying the requirements of tele-control communication,and validates the feasibility of wireless communication mode in tele-control system.

Abstract:Wide-band Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA), as one of the most important third-generation mobile communication standards, is being supported by most of the telecom operators around the world. On the pace. of the network construction and commercial operation of WCDMA system, the cell capacity is playing more and more important rules. Among different kinds of efforts, Channel Interference Mitigation is a very efficient way to enlarge this parameter. In this paper, an efficient method for common channel interference mitigation in downlink of WCDMA system is presented. The complexity of this technique is very low and simulation results show its superior performance to the conventional RAKE receiver and the CPICH interference mitigation receiver proposed in 3GPP technical specification.
