Dynamic analysis of layered piezoceramic and metal composite annular plate of moderate thickness

Abstract:In this paper, the vibration problems of the layered piezo-ceramic and metal composite annular plate of moderate thickness and different diameters, excited electrically, were analyzed. By taking into account its deformation characteristics, the fundamental dynamic equations of the plate were derived, and by using the semianalytical element method, the modes and inherent frequencies of the layered annular plate of moderate thickness were obtained. Also discussed was the phenomenon that the vibrations of the annular plate can be transformed into continuous rotation of the rotor contacted with the annular plate.
