Abstract:This paper is concerned with the regularity properties of weak solutions to the obstacle problem for Clifford-valued functions. Our main results are a global reverse Hölder inequality and stability of the weak solutions to the obstacle problem.

Our method is based on the analytical techniques coming from parabolic potential theory. Abstract:We prove the existence and uniqueness of solutions to a kind of quasilinear stochastic integral-partial differential equations with obstacles. Our method is based on the probabilistic interpretation of the solutions so that penalization method can be applied to a sequence of backward doubly stochastic differential equations with jumps. Relations between regular potentials and regular measures play an important role.

Abstract:This paper investigates the relation between the boundary geometricproperties and the boundary regularity of the solutions of elliptic equations.We prove by a new unified method the pointwise boundary Hölder regularityunder proper geometric conditions. "Unified" means that our method isapplicable for the Laplace equation, linear elliptic equations in divergenceand non-divergence form, fully nonlinear elliptic equations, the p-Laplaceequations and the fractional Laplace equations etc. In addition, thesegeometric conditions are quite general. In particular, for local equations, themeasure of the complement of the domain near the boundary point concerned couldbe zero. The key observation in the method is that the strong maximum principleimplies a decay for the solution, then a scaling argument leads to theHölder regularity. Moreover, we also give a geometric condition, whichguarantees the solvability of the Dirichlet problem for the Laplace equation.The geometric meaning of this condition is more apparent than that of theWiener criterion.

Abstract:Using the error bound results established in the present paper for approximate solutions, we study the stability issues when perturbed by possibly nonaffine smooth maps E for the abstract inequality system F >=(K) 0 defined by a (possible nonclosed) convex cone K and a Frechet differentiable function F satisfying the (extended) weak gamma-condition. We provide some sufficient conditions, in terms of the information at a solution x(0), for ensuring the lower semicontinuity and/or the Lipschitz-like continuity at x(0) of the solution mapping for the perturbed system F + E >=(K) 0 with smooth perturbation E. Explicit upper bounds of the Lipschitz-like moduli are also provided.

Abstract:We derive interior and global Hölder estimates for solutions of a class of quasilinear elliptic equations. First, the interior Hölder continuity is obtained by the iteration of an oscillation estimate. Then, the Hölder continuity up to the boundary is established in domains with certain boundary constraints. Last, we prove the global Hölder continuity of solutions provided that their restrictions on boundary are Hölder continuous. Abstract:We establish the existence, uniqueness, and $W^{1,2,p}$-regularity of solutions to fully-nonlinear, parabolic obstacle problems when the obstacle is the pointwise supremum of functions in $W^{1,2,p}$ and the nonlinear operator is required only to be measurable in the state and time variables. In particular, the results hold for all convex obstacles. Applied to stopping problems, they provide general conditions under which a decision maker never stops at a convex kink of the stopping payoff. The proof relies on new $W^{1,2,p}$-estimates for obstacle problems when the obstacle is the maximum of finitely many functions in $W^{1,2,p}$.

Moreover, we establish a maximum principle for local solutions of such class of stochastic PDEs.
