Abstract:It is shown that if a lattice-ordered n × n (n ≥ 2) matrix ring over a totally ordered integral domain or division ring containing a positive n-cycle, then it is isomorphic to the lattice-ordered n × n matrix ring with entrywise lattice order.

Abstract:For an n × n matrix algebra over a totally ordered integral domain, necessary and sufficient conditions are derived such that the entrywise lattice order on it is the only lattice order (up to an isomorphism) to make it into a lattice-ordered algebra in which the identity matrix is positive. The conditions are then applied to particular integral domains. In the second part of the paper we consider n × n matrix rings containing a positive n -cycle over totally ordered rings. Finally a characterization of lattice-ordered matrix ring with the entrywise lattice order is given.

Abstract:Let λ and μ be sequence spaces and have both the signed-weak gliding hump property, (λ, μ) the algebra of the infinite matrix operators which transform λ into μ. In this paper, it is proved that if λ and μ are β-spaces and λ β and μ β have also the signed-weak gliding hump property, then for any polar topology τ, ((λ, μ), τ) is always sequentially complete locally convex topological algebra.

Abstract:We prove that there exists a functorial correspondence between MV-algebras and partially cyclically ordered groups which are wound round of lattice-ordered groups. It follows that some results about cyclically ordered groups can be stated in terms of MV-algebras. For example, the study of groups together with a cyclic order allows to get a first-order characterization of groups of unimodular complex numbers and of finite cyclic groups. We deduce a characterization of pseudofinite MV-chains and of pseudo-simple MV-chains (i.e. which share the same first-order properties as some simple ones). We can generalize these results to some non-lineraly ordered MV-algebras, for example hyper-archimedean MV-algebras.

On the Existence of Cyclic Lattice Codes

Abstract:A coding lattice $\Lambda_c$ and a shaping lattice $\Lambda_s$ forms a nested lattice code $\mathcal{C}$ if $\Lambda_s \subseteq \Lambda_c$. Under some conditions, $\mathcal{C}$ is a finite cyclic group formed by rectangular encoding. This paper presents the conditions for the existence of such $\mathcal{C}$ and provides some designs. These designs correspond to solutions to linear Diophantine equations so that a cyclic lattice code $\mathcal C$ of arbitrary codebook size $M$ can possess group isomorphism, which is an essential property for a nested lattice code to be applied in physical layer network relaying techniques such as compute and forward.

Lattice structure in cluster algebra of finite type and non-simply-laced Ingalls-Thomas bijection

Abstract:In this paper, we demonstrate that the lattice structure of a set of clusters in a cluster algebra of finite type is anti-isomorphic to the torsion lattice of a certain Geiss-Leclerc-Schröer (GLS) path algebra and to the $c$-Cambrian lattice. We prove this by explicitly describing the exchange quivers of cluster algebras of finite type. Specifically, we prove that these quivers are anti-isomorphic to those formed by support $\tau$-tilting modules in GLS path algebras and to those formed by $c$-clusters consisting of almost positive roots.

Abstract:In this article, we study the automorphism group of the cyclic orbifold of a vertex operator algebra associated with a rootless even lattice for a lift of a fixed-point free isometry of odd prime order $p$. We prove that such a cyclic orbifold contains extra automorphisms, not induced from automorphisms of the lattice vertex operator algebra, if and only if the rootless even lattice can be constructed by Construction B from a code over $\mathbb{Z}_p$ or is isometric to the coinvariant lattice of the Leech lattice associated with a certain isometry of order $p$.

Abstract:In solar interior, it is the equilibrium velocity distribution of few high-energy protons and nuclei that participates in determining nuclear fusion reaction rates. So, it is inappropriate to use the Maxwellian velocity distribution to calculate the rates of solar nuclear fusion reactions. We have to use the relativistic equilibrium velocity distribution for the purpose. The nuclear fusion reaction rate based on the relativistic equilibrium velocity distribution has a reduction factor with respect to that based on the Maxwellian distribution. The reduction factor depends on the temperature, reduced mass and atomic numbers of the studied nuclear fusion reactions, in other words, it varies with the sort of neutrinos. Substituting the relativistic equilibrium velocity distribution for the Maxwellian distribution is not important for the calculation of solar sound speeds. The relativistic equilibrium velocity distribution, if adopted in standard solar models, will lower solar neutrino fluxes and change solar neutrino energy spectra but maintain solar sound speeds. This velocity distribution is possibly a solution to the solar neutrino problem.

Abstract:In this paper, type n lattice-ordered algebras are introduced and a characterization is given for those of type 0 and type 1. Moreover we investigate the question: Let A be a lattice-ordered algebra with unit element in which every positive element has an inverse. Under what conditions A is lattice and algebra isomorphic to ? We have shown that for certain algebras the question has a positive answer, generalizing thus a result of Scheffold. We also obtained a result similar to Edwards' Theorem for normed lattice-ordered algebras.

Abstract:We identify the maximal chiral algebra of conformal cyclic orbifolds. In terms of this extended algebra, the orbifold is a rational and diagonal conformal field theory, provided the mother theory itself is also rational and diagonal. The operator content and operator product expansion of the cyclic orbifolds are revisited in terms of this algebra. The fusion rules and fusion numbers are computed via the Verlinde formula. This allows one to predict which conformal blocks appear in a given four-point function of twisted or untwisted operators, which is relevant for the computation of various entanglement measures in one-dimensional critical systems.

Abstract:Let $V$ be a complete discrete valuation ring with residue field $\mathbb{F}$. We define a cyclic homology theory for algebras over $\mathbb{F}$, by lifting them to free algebras over $V$, which we enlarge to tube algebras and complete suitably. We show that this theory may be computed using any pro-dagger algebra lifting of an $\mathbb{F}$-algebra. We show that our theory is polynomially homotopy invariant, excisive, and matricially stable.

Abstract:Lattices with a circulant generator matrix represent a subclass of cyclic lattices. This subclass can be described by a basis containing a vector and its circular shifts. In this paper, we present certain conditions under which the norm expression of an arbitrary vector of this type of lattice is substantially simplified, and then investigate some of the lattices obtained under these conditions. We exhibit systems of nonlinear equations whose solutions yield lattices as dense as $D_n$ in odd dimensions. As far as even dimensions, we obtain lattices denser than $A_n$ as long as $n \in 2\mathbb{Z} \backslash 4\mathbb{Z}$.

Linear Algebra and its Applications

Abstract:We consider cyclic algebras, Milnor's symbol algebras, and certain graded algebra structures on them. We classify these gradings with respect to both isomorphism and equivalence relations. Some of them induce gradings on matrix algebras, which we also classify. As an application, we obtain the classification of all group gradings on the algebra Mp(F) , where p is a prime number and F is an arbitrary field.

Abstract:In this paper we study the category Cm(P) of m-cyclic complexes over P, where P is the category of projective modules over a finite dimensional hereditary algebra A, and describe almost split sequences in Cm(P). This is applied to prove the existence of Hall polynomials in Cm(P) when A is representation finite and m≠1. We further introduce the Hall algebra of Cm(P) and its localization in the sense of Bridgeland. In the case when A is representation finite, we use Hall polynomials to define the generic Bridgeland–Hall algebra of A and show that it contains a subalgebra isomorphic to the integral form of the corresponding quantum enveloping algebra. This provides a construction of the simple Lie algebra associated with A.

Abstract:It is shown that the gentle one-cycle algebra $\Lambda(n-1,1,1)$ has Hall polynomials. The Hall polynomials are explicitly given for all triples of indecomposable modules, and as a consequence, the Ringel--Hall Lie algebra of $\Lambda(n-1,1,1)$ is shown to be isomorphic to its Riedtmann Lie algebra.

Abstract:We continue our study of cyclic orbifolds of lattice vertex operator algebras and their full automorphism groups. We consider some special isometry $g\in O(L)$ such that $g^i$ is fixed point free on $L$ for any $1\leq i\leq |g|-1$. We show that when $L_2=\emptyset$ and $g^i$ is fixed point free on $L$ for any $1\leq i\leq |g|-1$, $V_L^{\hat{g}}$ has extra automorphisms implies either (1) the order of $g$ is a prime or (2) $L$ is isometric to the Leech lattice or some coinvariant sublattices of the Leech lattice.

Abstract:We study Lie-Rinehart algebra structures in the framework provided by a duality pairing of modules over a unital commutative associative algebra. Thus, we construct examples of Lie brackets corresponding to a fixed anchor map whose image is a cyclic submodule of the derivation module, and therefore we call them cyclic Lie-Rinehart algebras. In a very special case of our construction, these brackets turn out to be related to certain differential operators that occur in mathematical physics.

Abstract:In this paper, we start with a class of quivers containing only 2-cycles and loops, referred to as 2-cyclic quivers. We prove that there exists a potential on these quivers that ensures the resulting quiver with potential is Jacobian-finite. As an application, we first demonstrate through covering theory that a Jacobian-finite potential exists on a class of 2-acyclic quivers. Secondly, by using the 2-cyclic Caldero-Chapoton formula defined on section 4.2, the $\tau$-rigid modules obtained from the Jacobian algebras of our proven Jacobian-finite 2-cyclic quiver with potential can categorify Paquette-Schiffler's generalized cluster algebras in three specific cases: one for a disk with two marked points and one 3-puncture, one for a sphere with one puncture, one 3-puncture and one orbifold point, and another for a sphere with one puncture and two 3-punctures.
