Abstract:Let L=−Δ+V be a Schrödinger operator on ℝn, where V∈Lloc1(ℝn) is a nonnegative function on ℝn. In this article, we show that the Hardy spaces L on product spaces can be characterized in terms of the Lusin area integral, atomic decomposition, and maximal functions.

Abstract: Let $L= -\Delta_{\mathbb{H}^n}+V$ be a Schr\"odinger operator on the Heisenberg group $\mathbb{H}^n$, where $\Delta_{\mathbb{H}^n}$ is the sub-Laplacian and the nonnegative potential $V$ belongs to the reverse H\"older class $B_{\frac{Q}{2}}$ and $Q$ is the homogeneous dimension of $\mathbb{H}^n$. The Riesz transforms associated with the Schr\"odinger operator $L$ are bounded from $L^1(\mathbb{H}^n)$ to $L^{1,\infty}(\mathbb{H}^n)$. The $L^1$ integrability of the Riesz transforms associated with $L$ characterizes a certain Hardy type space denoted by $H^1_L(\mathbb{H}^n)$ which is larger than the usual Hardy space $H^1(\mathbb{H}^n)$. We define $H^1_L(\mathbb{H}^n)$ in terms of the maximal function with respect to the semigroup $\big \{e^{-s L}:\; s>0 \big\}$, and give the atomic decomposition of $H^1_L(\mathbb{H}^n)$. As an application of the atomic decomposition theorem, we prove that $H^1_L(\mathbb{H}^n)$ can be characterized by the Riesz transforms associated with $L$. All results hold for stratified groups as well.

Abstract:Let L=-Δ+V be a Schrödinger operator on Rn,n≥3, where V≢0 is a nonnegative potential belonging to the reverse Hölder class Bn/2. The Hardy type spaces HLp, n/(n+δ) 0, are defined in terms of the maximal function with respect to the semigroup {e-tL}t>0. In this paper, we investigate the bounded properties of some singular integral operators related to L, such as Liγ and ∇L-1/2, on spaces HLp. We give the molecular characterization of HLp, which is used to establish the HLp-boundedness of singular integrals.

Abstract:Let L = − Δ H n + μ be a generalized Schrödinger operator on the Heisenberg group H n , where Δ H n is the sub-Laplacian, and μ is a nonnegative Radon measure satisfying certain conditions. In this paper, we first establish some estimates of the fundamental solution and the heat kernel of L. Applying these estimates, we then study the Hardy spaces H L 1 ( H n ) introduced in terms of the maximal function associated with the heat semigroup e − t L ; in particular, we obtain an atomic decomposition of H L 1 ( H n ) , and prove the Riesz transform characterization of H L 1 ( H n ) . The dual space of H L 1 ( H n ) is also studied.

Abstract:The aim of this article is to develop the theory of product Hardy spaces associated with operators which possess the weak assumption of Davies--Gaffney heat kernel estimates, in the setting of spaces of homogeneous type. We also establish a Calderón--Zygmund decomposition on product spaces, which is of independent interest, and use it to study the interpolation of these product Hardy spaces. We then show that under the assumption of generalized Gaussian estimates, the product Hardy spaces coincide with the Lebesgue spaces, for an appropriate range of~$p$.

Abstract:Let be a doubling metric measure space in the sense of R. R. Coifman and G. Weiss, L a non-negative self-adjoint operator on satisfying the Davies–Gaffney estimate, and a ball quasi-Banach function space on satisfying some extra mild assumptions. In this article, the authors introduce the Hardy type space by the Lusin area function associated with L and establish the atomic and the molecular characterizations of As an application of these characterizations of , the authors obtain the boundedness of spectral multiplies on . Moreover, when L satisfies the Gaussian upper bound estimate, the authors further characterize in terms of the Littlewood–Paley functions and and establish the boundedness estimate of Schrödinger groups on . Specific spaces to which these results can be applied include Lebesgue spaces, Orlicz spaces, weighted Lebesgue spaces, and variable Lebesgue spaces. This shows that the results obtained in the article have extensive generality.

Abstract:Let L=-\Delta+V be a Schrödinger operator on R^d, d\geq 3. We assume that V is a nonnegative, compactly supported potential that belongs to L^p(R^d), for some p>d/2. Let K_t be the semigroup generated by -L. We say that an L^1(R^d)-function f belongs to the Hardy space H_L^1 associated with L if sup_{t>0} |K_t f| belongs to L^1(R^d). We prove that f\in H_L^1 if and only if R_j f \in L^1(R^d) for j=1,...,d, where R_j= \frac{d}{dx_j} L^{-1/2} are the Riesz transforms associated with L.

Hardy spaces meet harmonic weights revisited

Abstract:We investigate Hardy spaces $H^1_L(X)$ corresponding to self-adjoint operators $L$. Our main aim is to obtain a description of $H^1_L(X)$ in terms of atomic decompositions similar to such characterisation of the classical Hardy spaces $H^1(\mathbb{R}^d)$. Under suitable assumptions, such a description was obtained by Yan and the authors in [Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 375 (2022), no. 9, 6417-6451], where the atoms associated with an $L$-harmonic function are considered. Here we continue this study and modify the previous definition of atoms. The modified approach allows us to investigate settings, when the generating operator is related to a system of linearly independent harmonic functions. In this context, the cancellation condition for atoms is adjusted to fit this system. In an explicit example, we consider a symmetric manifold with ends $\mathbb{R}^d \# \mathbb{R}^d$. For this manifold the space of bounded harmonic functions is two-dimensional. Any element from the Hardy space $H^1_L(X)$ has to be orthogonal to all of the harmonic functions in the system.

Abstract:The main purpose of this paper is to develop the theory of product Hardy spaces built on Banach lattices on . First we introduce new product Hardy spaces associated with ball quasi-Banach function spaces via applying the Littlewood–Paley–Stein theory. Then we establish a decomposition theorem for in terms of the discrete Calderón's identity. Moreover, we explore some useful and general extrapolation theorems of Rubio de Francia on and give some applications to boundedness of operators. Finally, we conclude that the bi-parameter singular integral operators are bounded from to itself and bounded from to via extrapolation. The main results obtained in this paper have a wide range of generality. Especially, we can apply these results to many concrete examples of ball quasi-Banach function spaces, including product Herz spaces, weighted product Morrey spaces and product Orlicz spaces.

Abstract:Let L = -Delta + V be a Schrodinger operator in R(d) and H(L)(1)(R(d)) be the Hardy type space associated to L. We investigate the bilinear operators T(+) and T(-) defined byT(+/-)(f, g)(x) = (T(1)f)(x)(T(2)g)(x) +/- (T(2)f)(x)(T(1)g)(x),where T(1) and T(2) are Calderon-Zygmund operators related to L. Under some general conditions, we prove that either T(+) or T(-) is bounded from L(p)(R(d)) x L(q) (R(d)) to H(L)(1)(R(d)) for 1 < p, q < infinity with 1/p + 1/q = 1. Several examples satisfying these conditions are given. We also give a counterexample for which the classical Hardy space estimate fails.

Abstract:Let L=−ΔHn+V be a Schrödinger operator on the Heisenberg group Hn, where ΔHn is the sub-Laplacian and the nonnegative potential V belongs to the reverse Hölder class BQ2. Here Q is the homogeneous dimension of Hn. In this article we investigate the dual space of the Hardy-type space HL1(Hn) associated with the Schrödinger operator L, which is a kind of BMO-type space BMOL(Hn) defined by means of a revised sharp function related to the potential V. We give the Fefferman–Stein type decomposition of BMOL-functions with respect to the (adjoint) Riesz transforms R˜jL for L, and characterize BMOL(Hn) in terms of the Carleson measure. We also establish the BMOL-boundedness of some operators, such as the (adjoint) Riesz transforms R˜jL, the Littlewood–Paley function sQL, the Lusin area integral SQL, the Hardy–Littlewood maximal function, and the semigroup maximal function. All results hold for stratified groups as well.

Abstract:In this paper we introduce variable exponent local Hardy spaces associated with a non-negative self-adjoint operator L. We define them by using an area square integral involving the heat semigroup associated to L. A molecular characterization is established and as an aplication of the molecular characterization we prove that our local Hardy space coincides with the (global) variable exponent Hardy space associated to L, provided that 0 does not belong to the spectrum of L. Also, we show that it coincides with the global variable exponent Hardy space associated to L+I.

Abstract:The authors mainly study the Hausdorff operators on Euclidean space ℝ n . They establish boundedness of the Hausdorff operators in various function spaces, such as Lebesgue spaces, Hardy spaces, local Hardy spaces and Herz type spaces. The results reveal that the Hausdorff operators have better performance on the Herz type Hardy spaces $H\dot K_q^{\alpha ,p} (\mathbb{R}^n )$ than their performance on the Hardy spaces H p (ℝ n ) when 0 < p < 1. Also, the authors obtain some new results and reprove or generalize some known results for the high dimensional Hardy operator and adjoint Hardy operator.

Abstract:Consider the discrete Laplacian $\Delta_d$ defined on the set of integers $\mathbb Z$ by \[ \Delta_d f(n) = -f(n+1) + 2f(n) -f(n-1), \ \ \ \ n\in \mathbb Z, \] where $f$ is a function defined on $\mathbb Z$. In this paper, we define Hardy spaces, Besov spaces and Triebel--Lizorkin spaces associated with $\Delta_d$ and then show that these function spaces coincide with the classical function spaces defined on $\mathbb Z$. As applications, we prove the boundedness of the spectral multipliers and the Riesz transforms associated with $\Delta_d$ on these function spaces.

In this paper, we prove that on a compact Lie group G of dimension n, the multiplier operator e(is root L) (1 + L)(-beta/2), s is an element of (0,1]. extends to a bounded operator on the Hardy space H-p(G), 0 < p < infinity, if and only if |1/p - 1/2| <= beta/n-1.
