Constructing a socialist harmonious society-a new theme in modern China

Abstract:The turning,from handling internal contradictions among the people to constructing a socialist harmonious society,reflects the change of the national political life theme and the sublimation of Communist Party’s ruling idea.Constructing a socialist harmonious society sets a new target and a new idea,and puts forward new requirements for handling internal contradictions among the people.Cadres and masses contradiction,capital and labor contradiction,poor and rich contradiction,urban and rural contradiction,and regional contradiction are the main internal contradictions of modern China whose essence is interest contradiction and interest conflict,with characteristics of structure,interest,group,complexity,repeatability comprehensiveness and integrity.Now,the prominent social problems are the social status of the two classes of workers and peasants,the problems of vulnerable groups.In order to enhance the ability of dealing with the social contradiction in the new situation,and construct the harmonious society of modern China,the Party must adhere to governing for the people,maintaining social fairness,coordinating social interests,resolving social contradictions,and developing social undertakings.
