Abstract:The existence of homograph is obvious. The study of history of Chinese glossary should address itself to this issue. It is possible that the same fonts could have different meaning. The study of history of Chinese glossary should be iconoclast and it should reinstate the original appearance of different word fonts.

Abstract:Meng Wentong's study of Chinese ancient history has pushed forward the Movement consciously or unconsciously.His Gu Shi Zheng Wei proposes multi-analysis of Chinese ancient history,coincident with the view of Multidimensional Ancient History supported by the New Historiography ,has subverted the one unitary lineage of the Remote Antiquity,drawing great attention from academia of that time.However,as to the academic venation of Meng Wentong's study,it is not difficult to find that Gu Shi Zheng Wei is to assist Classical Studies.Through casting back the root of history of Rulers of Remote Antiquity,Meng Wentong puts forward multi-analysis of Chinese ancient history based on perspectives of geography,nation and culture,trying to reconstruct Chinese ancient history,to clarify relations between Historical Studies and Classical Studies,to testify the classics with the help of history,and eventually to illuminate the important role Classical Studies has played in Chinese culture.

Abstract:The dictionary Guang Yun which collection of characters is large and its definitions of each character are detailed.There are many homonyms,so you have to distinguish.Due to the development of Chinese characters,more homonyms were coined after Guang Yun.It is helpful for us to correctly differentiate relationships among related characters in the shape,sound and meaning from the angle of the diachronic comparison,to direct the application of Chinese characters and simplify and arrange them.

Abstract:The contemporary Chinese new homonyms refer to the words which were newly produced in contemporary Chinese,spelt and pronounced like the old words.Their origin is complex,but mainly produced in the standard spoken Chinese,or came from foreign languages or from Hong Kong and Taiwan areas.New homonyms' quantity is huge,and is also being produced unceasingly.Different kinds of new homonyms are different from one another in using scope and language using color.Moreover,they are quite imbalanced interiorly.People don't have sufficient understanding on new homonyms yet,and they may often misuse them when they apply or research on them in practice.Therefore,we should pay attention to them and hurry to research into them.

Abstract:Gouyihao,which is also called "daoyihao","yizhenghao","yizifu" etc.,is an ancient symbol for transposing.Many examples are given in the article to discuss figures,general usages of gouyihao and to point out mistakes made in ancient books proofreading due to the ignorance of gouyihao.The article illuminates the origin as well as the evolvement of gouyihao,figures out that "yi" in gouyi is actually a variation of "(亅)",a small seal from "Shuowen",and contradicts several wrong interpretations prevailed for long.

Abstract:This article considers the problem of grammatical homonymy when teaching Russian to Chinese students; special attention is paid to the use of homonyms in various aspects in Russian and Chinese. The authors of the article give examples, which include homonyms in various speech and other genres, for example, dialogue, advertising, and names. The article illustrates the use of the comparative method for teaching Chinese students to communicate in Russian and to use grammatical forms with homonyms. The training is based on modern technologies: a projector, a computer are designed to more effectively master didactic material. In order to check the degree of understanding the use of homonyms when comparing Russian and Chinese languages, exercises are proposed.

Abstract:The opposition and unity of sound, meaning, and form constitute the three elements of language, that is, each language symbol contains three aspects: sound, meaning, and form. Due to the arbitrariness of language and certain contradiction caused by "less sound, fewer forms, and more meaning", the relationship between these elements in the language system is not one-to-one, leading to the phenomenon of polysemy and homonym in languages. Ambiguity is a common linguistic phenomenon that exists in both ancient and modern languages, both locally and across languages. It is a special relationship between language structure and meaning. Linguists believe that the phenomenon of ambiguity in the meaning of a word or sentence, or the existence of two or more interpretations for one expression, is called linguistic ambiguity. In this theoretical context, homonym is a type of lexical ambiguity widely used in modern advertising. The present study attempts to analyze the linguistic significance of homophones in advertisements through specific examples, so that people can better understand the wit, humor, and richness of languages, while paying attention to its impact on language development and adolescents. Through these measures, it can be expected that more benefits and less harm will be achieved in the long run.

Abstract:Hu Sansheng’s annotation to the History As A Mirror is extensive in scope and penetrating in thought, and word explanation is one of its important content. The parts after “Wei’s Chronicles” in the book has no annotation references in original texts, so the annotations are all done by Hu himself. Overall, Hu’s word explanations are accurate and full with research significance in terms of the history of ancient annotation and Chinese language development. But there are still some items not accurate, and can be analyzed and discussed. This paper selected 20 items of Hu‘s word explanation in the parts of the chronicles from Wei to Chen in this book, discusses and analyzes their errors and provides some supplements.

Abstract:After the two Chinese translations(Phrase Zhenshixing and Phrase Yuanzhenxing) of heritage authenticity are traced back,no definite evidence shows the usage of Phrase Zhenshixing considered strictly.Therefore,Phrase Zhenshixing do not take advantage over Phrase Yuanzhenxing from the academic viewpoint.From characters' expression,the two phrases emphasize differently to some degree,whereas reach the similar understanding eventually along different way.The so many feedback on the two phrases shows the development that the conservation theory is related more and more strongly to the heritage protection practice in China.Comparing with the superficial discussion,it is more important and practical that the essential development of the conservation theory became deeper and clearer.

This paper will apply skopos theory as the theoretical framework and analyze the translation of material culture-loaded words in Yang Xianyi and Gladys Yangs’ translation of A Dream of Red Mansions and The Story of the Stone by David Hawkes. And then the author will try to list some representative culture-loaded words and reveal that how the skopos influences the translators’ choice of translation methods and strategies in translation, and what effect or effects can be achieved. Some conclusions can be drawn.

Abstract:The development of language is based on the usage of it.Without the usage of language,there is no development.The generation and development of such words as indicators of resemblance,metonymy words and onomatopoeias in Chinese and classifiers all have close relations with rhetoric.Grammar and pronunciation are the same as vocabulary.Thus,from the view of academic principles,the research on the history of Chinese should include the research on the history of Chinese rhetoric besides the history of Chinese phonetics,Chinese grammar and Chinese vocabulary.Only in this way can we finally establish an integral system of the history of the development of Chinese.There are at least three reasons: First,the research on the history of Chinese can not be without the problems of rhetoric.The generations of many linguistic phenomena need to be explained by the theories of rhetoric.Second,the research on the history of Chinese with the complement of rhetoric can help to get the correct explanation of the meanings of the words.Third,the research with rhetoric is beneficial to the textual research and collation.

Abstract:Complex characters and simplified characters,both of which have made an outstanding contribution to the civilization progress of our society,have been acting as two different corporeal carriers of the Chinese characters culture.While the appearance of the simplified characters has its own historical significance according to the character evolution law,it does not gloss over the profound aesthetic wisdom and cultural connotation of the original complex characters.In consideration of the reality that the reform of simplified characters has basically come through and proved to be an irrevocable fact,we make our research into a full understanding of various benefits from reusing complex characters as well as a deeper comprehension of the importance of keeping using simplified characters in a normative way to the development of Chinese society.Finally,we appeal to the government and people from all walks for some feasible strategies and expect them to be brought into effect soon so that the contradiction between complicated characters and simplified characters can be well settled.

Abstract:The popularity of social networks in modern Chinese has had a far-reaching impact on the development of language. This study discusses the unique language phenomenon of social network homophones from the perspective of modern Chinese. By collecting and analyzing data from different social network platforms, we deeply studied the phonetic features, morphological features and usage of social network homophones. The research results show the importance of social network homophonic words in modern Chinese, and emphasize their cultural and social significance as part of social media interaction. Future research can further explore the language evolution trend of social network homophones and their broader relationship with the development of Chinese language. This study provides a new perspective for us to understand the evolution of Chinese language in the digital age.
The Heterogeneous Culture and Non-self Factors from Other Perspectives in Comparative Poetics

Abstract:In the era of globalized Sinology, comparative poetic studies epitomizes the mainstream in converging developments in literary studies at home and abroad, and the comparative perspective is the ontology upon which comparative poetics exists. The Other perspective forms the innate essence of comparative poetics and thus possesses viewpoints of two cultures. Heterogeneous culture is a specialized term utilized internationally by comparativists and Sinologists. In terms of the essential difference in linguistic and ethnic makeup, the oriental culture and occidental culture can be mutually treated as Other cultures, i.e., the two cultures can treat each other as Other or Non-self factors. Researchers of comparative poetics strive to break through the confinement of cultural unilateralism and advocate an open perspective that embraces heterogeneous cultures and non-self factors in researches. Such a comparative poetics should be internationally applicable while avoiding cultural monism and nationalism. This perspective of comparative poetics encourages mutual scrutiny from both Chinese poetics and foreign poetics, treating each other as the Other. Identification with one national poetics in light of another, much like a mirror and a lamp, can reflect and illuminate each other. The inter-section theory is an effective answer to perspective fusion as well as applicability of comparative studies in constructing comparative poetics as a field of studies.
