The Analysis of the Prescriptions of Medical Clinic in a Two-Grade Hospital in Xi'an

Abstract:Objective In order to know if it is rational of medicine, we take the investigation and analysis the prescriptions of medical clinic in a two-grade hospital .We can provide the result of basis to improve the level of the work. Methods We take the samples by stratified-random sampling.We have 2 591 samples from all of the prescriptions in year of 2006 .According to reference of the index of the ration use of drugs by WHO standard and the situations of the hospital, we give the statistical analysis of the result of the prescriptions , such as the standard of the prescriptions , the usage of antibiotic , the cost of the prescriptions and the constitute of the disease in medical clinic. Results The rate of prescription written-integrity was 96.49% ; The proportion of usage of antibiotic was 53.3% ; The proportion of usage of venous transfusion was 46.62% ; The proportion of the respiration disease,the digestion disease,the cardiovascular disease and the cerebrovascular disease were above 80%. Conclusion The prescription written-integrity was up to the fundamental standard; enhance the rational use of antibiotic and the venous transfusion;the most disease were routine disease and frequently encountered disease,standardized management system of diagnosis and drug use was rational . Also we can standardized the cost of the disease if we take more research and discuss carefully.
