Significance of establishment on the classification management policy of the China prescription medicine and over-the-counter medicine based on foreign experience

Abstract:Prescription medicine and over-the-counter medicine classification management policy is the internationally accepted mode of drug administration.Currently,a majority of western developed countries have established medicine classification management policy.China actively promoted the establishment of drug classification management policy.This paper provides an analysis of not only drug classification management policy in major developed countries,but also problems concerning drug classification management policy of our country,and impact of the policy to the health of the public and medical health after implementation.In this article some suggestions were put forward to promote drug classification management policy in China.
