Abstract:OBJECTIVE To study the status quo and the tendency of pharmaceutical care work in China,and draw lessons for the pharmaceutical care development by literature retrieval,classification and analysis.METHODS Pharmaceutical journals of the Chinese core periodicals of Peking University were selected using "pharmaceutical care" as keyword in the title,and the related literatures published among 1995-2015 in these journals were retrieved from CNKI database.RESULTS Totally 278 literatures were collected,which increased annually.The first authors came from 171 work units,and there were 6 units whose literature volumes were equal to or greater than 5.First authors mainly came from Beijing,Jiangsu,Guangxi,Shanghai,etc.The number of practical literatures was 234 and the top five research areas were infectious diseases,respiratory diseases,tumor diseases,cardiovascular diseases and immune diseases.CONCLUSION The work of pharmaceutical care starts late in China and the development is slow at the early stage.Just in recent years,it develops rapidly.The ability and level of clinical pharmacists also rise year by year.However the scope of the pharmaceutical care work still needs to be strengthened.

Literature analysis on pharmaceutical care in China
