Abstract:Aim.In our opinion,it is a challenging job to keep each resource domain in campus grid away from being overloaded.We propose utilizing the information monitored from campus grid to meet this challenge.Fig.1 in subsection 2.1 of the full paper presents the block diagram of the campus grid monitoring system designed by us.The core of our design is a certain domain monitor presented in subsection 2.2,which consists of five mobile agents of different functions;(1) sensor,(2) LDAP(Light Directory Agent Protocol),(3) query,(4) register/nonregister,(5) sub-monitor.Section 3 explains a dynamic interval algorithm used in our design.Section 5 presents evaluation results.Table 1 presents the performance evaluation results of our monitoring system,already used in the NWPU campus grid.Figs.7 and 8 present the simulation evaluation results of our dynamic interval algorithm.These evaluation results show preliminarily that,utilizing the information gathered from the campus grid,our monitoring system does much suppress the overloading of each resource domain.
