Abstract:Software documentation is very important in the process of software maintenance. In this paper, we propose a new methodology for automatic documentation generation, which is capable of maintaining the consistency between software documentation and the corresponding software system in model-driven development. We first set up the documentation model, and then map system model elements to documentation model elements. Finally, we combine the documentation model with specific document format templates and generate the “requirements specification”, “preliminary design specification” and “detailed design specification”. An automatic transmission system is used to provide experimental results to demonstrate the engineering value of our documentation generator. In addition, we analyze and experimentally evaluate the factors affecting the document generation time, and provide a method for predicting the document generation time.

Abstract:With the growing of maturity for the graphical model-driven development environment, software development has been made out of the shackles of a lot of manual coding and not easily code reusing, meanwhile a higher document management standard is required in software development process. To meet this requirement this paper presents a structured Word document automatic generation technology which makes full use of XML Dom and VBA technologies, and takes XML data storage files as input. The paper elaborates tag defining rules of structured Word document template, and the algorithms of XML data nodes query, information extraction and replacement of Word document tags. The model has been applied in a practical engineering project, and effectively solves the problems of strenuousness, repetition, inefficiency and easily mistakes occurring as compiling structured Word documents only by hand. © 2005 - 2012 JATIT & LLS. Abstract:The integration of technical documents within the whole product life cycle is one of the research task in computer integrated logistic support system. The document integration based on standard generalized markup language (SGML) was presented. The design and implementation of SGML engine was discussed to compile SGML document to SGML document with standardized format and to store in object-oriented database. The management system of document database was developed to implement exchange and sharing of product technical document, which provide description and control function for complex structural entity. The SGML document support tool-kit in super-medium environment was also developed, which contains access interface of database, document type definition browser, document browser and document editor. An illustrative example was given.

Abstract:Microsoft Office Word2007 provides a new default file format.The file format,called Word XML format,offers novel solutions and ideas for information hiding in word documents.In this paper,a brief introduction to the format of Word2007 document is given first.And then,according to the schemes of information hiding on XML files and the feature of Word2007 documents,a novel scheme of information hiding in Word2007 documents based on replacing the revision identifiers is devised .Compared with the existing information hiding schemes in the Word,the scheme in this paper is more convenient,secure and it offers a wide bandwidth available.

Abstract:The master document includes all kinds of templates, and various templates can be used to derive different documents. The basic principle of using the master document to derive the other documents is integrating the data in the corresponding line of the Tabular Layouts of Article Characteristics with the master document, then, automatically generating various documents. This technology can be used to design quickly and accurately, meeting the demand of mass customization. We discussed the basic principle, the modeling method of master document technology based on the Tabular Layouts of Article Characteristics, and introduced its application.

Abstract:To suit for the requirements for digital technological development to automatically,formally and conveniently generate experimental reports of various standards,the authors integrate Word template technology,cutely exploit ″Bookmark″,which stands for the Word locating function,and make use of VC+ + programming technology to realise the adaptive optical experimental data report automatic generation.The paper introduces the implementation of the software and its advantages and disadvantages,pays attention to locating inside files and digital image generation.The practicality and effectiveness of the method is validated.Practical results demonstrate that the method is mechanically simple,swift and convenient,and worth popularisation.

Abstract:In practice,it is common that several members collaborate to prepare a document.For example,in the domain of construction,it is necessary to collaborate with others to prepare investment proposals,feasibility analysis reports etc.But little software for document preparation support this process well up to now.Accordingly,the paper proposes a solution for developing a general purpose collaborative system for document preparation based on network and commonly used word processing software.A prototype system has been implemented.It provides a new approach to developing a collaborative system for document preparation.

Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems

Abstract:To solve the problem of low efficiency,frequently occurred mistakes,and the necessity of manual calculation and validation in the compilation of data-gather documents(Word format) in enterprises,a mathematic model to automatically generate document was put forward by analyzing the characteristics and basic data types of the documents.This model defined essential operations and document template in the process of document construction.Furthermore,the applied model translated the document template into data-gathering documents with specific date through iterative calculation.Then,this model was applied in the management and automatic document generation system in a power plant and it was successfully integrated with workflow systems.It enabled integration process possible for automatic generation document to checkout.Experimental results showed that this model was feasible and effective.

Abstract:This paper puts forward a kind of novel methodology for software system development, from the point of view of the problem existed in software development -- the gap between the requirement specification level and the program implementation level. We attempt to begin from the specification level of software development to touch the process of high-level specification construction profoundly. We propose a specification language to support multiple semantic dimensions and based on which build a unified functional model of software system in a specific domain. On the bases of these, we apply transformation and refinement methods to the model and transit it from the specification level to the implementation level. We expect such a process can change the current software producing procedure in nature. We also put this methodology into the application of the software development in real-time serving domain we focus on, which turns out to be encouraging.

Abstract:The Wiki-based system for formulating and revising enterprise standard was developed in order to help the large-scale corporation to organize the subsidiary enterprises cooperatively formulating and revi-sing enterprise standard. The main characteristics of the system are as follows: (1) All of the work for formulating and revising enterprise standard are cooperatively done on the Extranet/Intranet, such as: planning for standard, drafting out standard, discussion on standard, checkup on standard, promulgating standard, poll for standard, revising standard et al. (2) The best architecture and items of standard are chosen through a democracy method by using the Wiki-based poll mode for standard. (3) The enterprise standard is cooperatively formulated and revised in a popular style by using the Wiki mode. The experience and wisdom from everybody are concentrated. The enterprise standard is gradually perfected. (4) The information feedback on the implement of standard are collected by using the Wiki-based system. Owing to the standard obtaining acknowledge from the majority in the corporation, the effect of the implement of standard is better. By using the Wiki-based system, the capability for formulating and revising enterprise standard of the corporation can be remarkably promoted, the efficiency and quality for formulating and revising enterprise standard can be obviously improved, and the cost for formulating and revising enter-prise standard can be reduced.

Abstract:On the background of knowledge economy, it is very important to edit engineering documents rapidly in order to enhance competitive power, of enterprises. But there are some problems such as the inconsistency of data, low efficiency in creating documents and nonstandard typesetting format by using previous software for word processing. Aiming at solving these problems, the system of computer aided editor for composite engineering documents based on ontology and semantic Web is put forward in this paper. The definition and attributes of composite documents are introduced, and the functional model of the system is described. Then the basic theory and concrete implement technology based on ontology and semantic Web to realize the creation and management of composite documents and integration of data are discussed and emphasized in details, in order to expatriate the means to solve those problems.
