Abstract:The methods of literature review and so on are used to analyze the realization paths of Wushu creative industry from Wushu Industry. The analysis shows that the current situation of development of Wushu industry are integration of diversified forms of presentation, innovation by science and technology support and widening of the integration of industrial branches. The reasons for the transition are due to the trend of industrial convergence, the market demand of re-excavating the cultural implication of Wushu culture, as well as inspiration from transition and development of cultural creative industry. Taking Wushu culture as the basic element and creativity as the core, the transformation and development of Wushu industry to Wushu creative industry are promoted from Wushu's own technical level, science and technology level, the whole industrial chain level and industrial cluster development level respectively.

Meanwhile, the researches lack the prediction and insight over some fundamental challenges, such as industry development direction, development mode and mechanism innovation, etc. In addition, the researches of domestic digital publishing industry need to develop a new growing point. Some aspects need to be studied urgently, such as industry transformation, the relevance between digital publishing and cultural industry, and systematical researches on policies.

Abstract:Chinese publishing science has its own theoretical origins and unique characteristics. Since 1970s, publishing as a science has grown up rapidly in China. This paper presents a structured overview of Chinese publishing research in its full historical depth and thematic breadth. It first introduces a brief history of publishing science in China, and then identifies the main characteristics and key areas of research. Consistent with the divide in social research, the debate between positivistic and naturalistic paradigms has also characterized the development of global publishing science. The interpretivist paradigm of Chinese publishing research leads to unique research subjects and methods. The subjects, on the one hand, are more focused on meta-theory. Theory building and integration has been the main goal in the past three decades. The methods, on the other hand, have been generally qualitative, including historical, interpretive, and critical analysis. Current key research areas include theoretical construction of publishing science, history of publishing, cultural studies of publishing, publishing economics, digital publishing and copyright. This paper also discusses the challenges facing publishing researchers in China and their possible solutions.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to investigate how changes in the social environment of print media have affected the history of the Japanese publishing industry in the postwar period. Data on the circulation of books, magazines, and newspapers are analysed on a population basis. The results of these analyses show that per-capita circulation of these media increased almost monotonically until the 1980s, but then began to decrease after peaking in the 1990s. After conducting statistical correlation analyses, we conclude that per-capita circulation was affected by economic trends indicated by the GDP growth rate. Our analyses also show a positive correlation between the pace of change in per-capita book and magazine circulation, and this reciprocal relationship is investigated in detail.

Abstract:This article explores the dual role played by the publishing industry in inheriting Chinese history and culture and promoting social intervention. The article first reviews the historical evolution of the publishing industry, pointing out that it has been carrying the heavy responsibility of disseminating knowledge and inheriting culture since ancient times. With the changes of the times, while maintaining the traditional essence, the publishing industry actively adapts to the needs of social development and explores new development models. The publishing industry plays a crucial role in inheriting Chinese history and culture. By collecting, organizing, and publishing historical literature, the publishing industry has left rich cultural heritage for future generations and provided valuable materials for historical research. At the same time, the publishing industry also promotes the exchange and integration of Chinese and foreign cultures through translation and introduction. Abstract:The popularity of Japanese comics or better known as manga had reach worldwide. The production of the manga had also led to the creation of derivative products such as animated series and doujinshi . However, most readers outside Japan accessed these media in a translated format that is published independently from the original publisher. As such, many of the readers might not know the distribution system of the original media. In this paper, we discussed the distribution of manga and doujinshi in Japan. These include discussions regarding the general overview of the manga industry, the different types of published manga and doujinshi , as well as their distribution system. Lastly, this paper also discussed briefly what is the unique characteristic of the Japanese manga and doujinshi industry.

Abstract:The Japanese publishing industry was originally built on a closed, domestic system. International file formats for electronic publishing, EPUB and AZW, developed after the Japan-specific file formats had already been established, and the coexistence of these multiple file formats has complicated the Japanese electronic publishing market. In Japan, the electronic book exchange format that converts formats from one to another has been established to solve the compatibility problem. Although it is hard to evaluate the usefulness of the electronic book exchange format at this stage, the publishing industry needs to respond to globalization while maintaining the diversity found in Japanese culture.

Abstract:This study attempted to explain the promotion system and changes in China's publishing policy during the 13th 5-year rule period (2016-2020) and the 14th 5-year rule period (2021-2025) through literature analysis of Chinese publishing policy documents, academic research, and reporting. First of all, China's publishing-related ministries continue to support the publishing industry and public libraries during the 12th five-year period, expanding reading infrastructure in rural areas, and support overseas publications. In addition, the reading rate of Chinese people is also increasing along with the increase in the publication of paper and e-books by domestic Chinese publishers. In addition, since the Central Propaganda Department of the Communist Party of China became the responsible department of China's publishing policy from March 2018, China's publishing policy promotion system has strengthened its connection with the Communist Party and Xi Jinping's ideas and policy promotion and education. However, despite the ongoing difficulties of offline bookstores in China due to the discount competition of Chinese e-commerce companies, Chinese publishing ministries do not implement a book sales price system and only local governments in some administrative districts provide subsidies for offline bookstores.
