Abstract:[Objective]To explore the factors influencing the active use of AIDS services among adolescents outside school,offer the theoretical basis of promoting them to make full use of the service.[Methods]The convenience sampling which is one of the non probability sampling was adopted in the study. There were 512 adolescents out of school aged from 10 to 24 being investigated. The data were analyzed through SPSS11.5 in the way of the general descriptive statistics and multinomial logistic regression.[Results]11.4%(57/499)of adolescents outside school actively utilized the AIDS service. High AIDS prevalence,the peers' support to the use of AIDS service and talking about AIDS with their family members were stimulatives and the lower economic level was the barrier in the utilization of AIDS services among the adolescents outside school.[Conclusion]The comprehensive youth-friendly service should be provided based on their needs. The supportive environment should be developed in which the adolescents can use the service without the barriers due to misunderstanding and discrimination. The living skills of adolescents out of school should be improved in order to build a necessary economical basis for the use of AIDS service.
