Abstract:With the increasing rapid economic of globalization and urbanization,city event has become an important opportunity to promote urban and landscape development.Upon analyzing some cases,which has been held or is ongoing,Combined with the lessons of success and failure,this thesis discusses how to effectively control and guide these short-term but large-scale city events to bring a lasting and positive impact on urban development and landscape construction.
