The Question of Marx-Engels in Colletti's Vision

Abstract:In Colletti's view,dialectical materialism was simply the reprint of Hegel's dialectic of matter,whose essence was the same thing,a kind of homogeneous idealist philosophy.Moreover,he thought that Engels was the chief culprit of this misunderstanding,so the latter should be totally responsible for this error.The final result of Colletti's deed was to put Engels into the list of betraying Marx,leading to the thorough opposition between Marx and Engels;consequently,he was involved into the trap of western Marxology.Colletti's interpretation fully distorted the essence of Engels' dialectic of nature,and exaggerated the difference between Marx and Engels.Based on these above,this thesis thinks that his accusing of Engels is illegal.
