Abstract:According to the social exchange theory,the elderly can establish exchange relationships with family members,social institutions and the nation to get long-term care services by way of social exchange.This paper analyzes the social exchange arrangements of long-term care services of Chinese rural elderly.It mentions that social exchange resources can be used by the elderly including labor income,the pro bono services of their children,the voluntary service to the community,the taxes or social insurance to the country,special value and business assets.The social exchange ways includes family members exchange,social exchange,the exchange of institution and voluntary exchange.It Suggests that the state to emphasize on various exchange supervision and management to improve the quality of social exchange.
