Reseach and Practice on a New Model of Aged-care in the Rank of Aging Society

Abstract:In China where people advocate filial piety and share the happiness of a family reunion specifically, how to fulfill the filial duty and take good care of the elderly people who make great contribution to the human and social development, and then provide generous returns to them is regarded as a matter of political event to promote people's livelihood and ensure social harmony and stability. Therefore, based on the trend of "421" and population aging of Chinese families in 21st century, the paper analyzes traditional model of family aged-care and social aged-care. Through field survey and case studies, we propose many new models and ideas such as aged-care at home which is rooted in the family, connected with the community and largely relies on the professional service teams with the purpose of providing intellectual support as well as reference value for the government.
