Abstract:The paper describes a design of commercial vehicle monitoring system (CVSM) which can help to promote transportation safety and improve traffic efficiency. To meet the demand of practical application, we analyze functional requirements and set the general objective and basic routes of system design. The structure design consists of three main parts, namely, on-board terminal design, mobile application development and abnormal driving behavior detection. The real-time performance, reliability, and stability of the system are verified through experiments.

Abstract:Along with the development of transport and increasing number of vehicles in China, the vehicle tracking and monitoring system has become more and more important in this area. Personal and small-scale users' needs for vehicle monitoring system are also increasing. This paper introduces a low-cost vehicle monitoring system including vehicle terminals and the monitoring center, describes the hardware and software design and implementation method of each part. The system is based on GPS and GSM technology, using Short Message Service (SMS) as the mean of communication. Practice has proved that the system is low cost, easy to operate, and well positioned to meet the needs of personal and small-scale users.

Abstract:Most of vehicle monitoring systems based on GPS and GIS technologies use SMS as their communicating means.SMS didn't have private channel and is difficult to extend to suit other data business,could not afford stable communicating in those systems in some special situations.Contrasting with SMS,GPRS is cheap,real time and is more stable,and more suitable for those systems.A vehicle monitoring system that using GPRS is introduced,including the architecture,GPRS protocol operation,and the implementing of software is emphasized.

Abstract:Based on the principle of the intelligent vehicle monitoring system using GPS/GSM, this paper analyzed the key technologies of the system such as GIS, wireless positioning and communication. Details about the design and implementation of the system are discussed in this paper. Such a system provides practical measures to resolve problems like vehicle hijacking and theft in traffic control and management. In addition, this system also offers certain references in monitoring civil vehicles and providing cogent evidence for vehicle theft cases.

Abstract:According to the defects of the GPS vehicle monitor system in the present market,a high concurrent and real-time GPS vehicle monitoring system is proposed. The entre system is based on a three-layer framework:the terminals,the interim database server,and the monitoring workstation. The monitor workstation is based on the MAPX platform,and the database server communicates with terminals through GPRS network. In order to reduce the communication payload,a reliable UDP protocol is used. By optimizing the database design, the high concurrence is obtained. The high efficiency of the system is proved in the implementation.

Abstract:Vehicle tracking system based on GPS has been paid more and more attention. The system consists of GIS(Geological Information System), master station, movable station and communication network. Movable stations installed on automobiles transmit their position and status messages to the master station. All vehicles' tracks are drawn on the electrical map displayed by the master station's computer screen in real time. Vehicles' alarming signals can also be transmitted to the master station simultaneously. This paper presents a whole designing scheme of the vehicle tracking system, then it makes a thorough introduction to the system's performance and working procedure. The key technologies employed by the system and the relations between them are also discussed in details in the paper.

Abstract:This paper presents a vehicle-monitoring system which is designed and built based on the Lab VIEW virtual instrument technology of National Instruments company. It is shown further that this system uses a vehicle-based GPS/BDS positioning system receiver to obtain the position information, and then send such information to monitoring station through the public wireless network.After above said steps, the monitoring station transmits all the collected information back to each vehicle with sharing and displaying each other’s dynamic location information. The proposed monitoring and displaying software is developed by Lab VIEW to achieve real-time monitoring and controlling of each vehicle’s operation state. From the experimental result, it is found that the proposed design can effectively provide a solution to monitor and display the real-time operation state of each vehicle.

Abstract:According to the problem that the current vehicle active surveillance system has much randomicity,low automatization and bad management actuality,a novel design method based on GPS/GIS/GPRS is put forward. With the delphi +MapX,the function of digitalmap manipulation,abnormal vehicle showing and vehicle communication on the basis of studying the principle and composition of the vehicle surveillance system is realized. In addition,the database of system for surveillance is established to search,and analyse the vehicle abnormal situation. The experiments demonstrate that the surveillance efficiency and the management level can be improved by the method designed for the long-distance bus.

Abstract:The GPS,GSM and GIS technique are used to develop a vehicle positioning and tracking system,which is based on the network and can track the vehicle automatically on the network.The system contains two parts: the vehicle intelligent terminal with GPS GSM and the monitoring center which manages the digital map system.This system uses the GPS to acquire the position of vehicle,and uses the GSM to realize the communication between the vehicle and monitoring center.So the target can be shown on the digital map,and we can access the map through the Internet.This paper introduces the part of the vehicle intelligent terminal mainly.

Abstract:A vehicle emergency monitoring platform with the integrated techniques of GPS,GIS and GPRS is researched and implemented.By analyzing the functional limitations and in view of the key problems of the existing systems,a new platform is introduced,the overall framework is described and the implementation of the platform based on hybrid pub-sub model of dynamic subscribing and static sub-scribing is discussed in detail.The new platform rightly meets the actual needs of vehicle monitoring business and perfectly supports many functions which existing systems lack such as messages subscribing by sectors,distributed synchronization of monitoring centers and off-line message delivering.Modules of the platform are loosely-coupled and have excellent expansibility.It is suitable for being applied in large-scale vehicle emergency monitoring system with multisectoral and has been successfully testified in the project of vehicle emergency monitoring system in an international airport.

Abstract:This paper put forward a monitoring technology based on WSNs,designing and implementing an in-transit real-time vehicle-mounted system for on-road monitoring of dangerous goods.It uses various kinds of professional sensors to detect the physical condition of dangerous goods,the sensor nodes collect and submit the data after Ad hoc networks;also uses gyroscope to detect the vehicle attitude,and import the technology of GPS and GIS to achieve tracking and trajectory mapping of the vehicle;last it achieve the data access and transmission between the vehicle-mounted system and monitoring center through wireless communication.The vehicle-mounted system provides users with access authentication,navigation,remote inquire and autoalarm.etc.Test in practice shows the system works well.

Abstract:A vehicle terminal system is designed,the system can acquire the moving vehicle information providing by GPS module using LPC2138,and transmits the data to the Internet by wireless communication link built by GPRS module.Then the monitor center receives the real-time data packet by server linking Internet,the system can realize the vehicle positoning and monitoring.The vehicle system working principle,hardware construction and software design are introduced.At last,vehicle motion test proves the feasibility of this design.
