Abstract:We show that for any bounded domain Din C if Dis Bergman exhaustive, then Dis Bergman complete. We also give a bounded pseudoconvex domain in C 2which is Bergman exhaustive but not Bergman complete.

Abstract:It is proved that any bounded pseudoconvex domain in C-n is complete w.r.t. the Bergman metric if its boundary can be described locally as the graph of a continuous function in suitable coordinates for C-n. Further arguments are given concerning the stability problems of the Bergman kernel on non-smooth pseudoconvex domains.

Abstract:We give first of all a new criterion for Bergman completeness in terms of the pluricomplex Green function. Among several applications, we prove in particular that every Stein subvariety in a complex manifold admits a Bergman complete Stein neighborhood basis, which improves a theorem of Siu. Secondly, we give for hyperbolic Riemann surfaces a sufficient condition for when the Bergman and Poincaré metrics are quasi-isometric. A consequence is an equivalent characterization of uniformly perfect planar domains in terms of growth rates of the Bergman kernel and metric. Finally, we provide a noncompact Bergman complete pseudoconvex manifold without nonconstant negative plurisubharmonic functions.

Abstract:Let {D-k}, k = 1, 2, ..., be a sequence of bounded pseudoconvex domains that converges, in the sense of Boas, to a bounded domain D. We show that if partial derivative D can be described locally as the graph of a continuous function in suitable coordinates for C-n, then the Bergman kernel of D-k converges to the Bergman kernel of D uniformly on compact subsets of D x D.

Abstract:. We use the existence of a bounded uniformly Hölder continuous plurisubharmonic exhaustion function to characterize the Bergman completeness of a complete Kähler manifold. As an application, we proved that any simply-connected complete Kähler manifold with sectional curvature bounded above by a negative constant is Bergman complete.

Abstract:A characterization of unconditional convergent series is given for the case of sequentially complete locally convex spaces. From it we show that if E is a barrelled space with continuous dual E', then (E', beta(E', E)) contains no copy of (c(0), parallel to.parallel to(infinity)) if and only if every continuous linear operator T : E --> l(1) is both compact and sequentially compact.

Abstract:We study the density of functions which are holomorphic in a neighbourhood of the closure $\overline{\Omega}$ of a bounded non-smooth pseudoconvex domain $\Omega$, in the Bergman space $ H^2(\Omega ,\varphi)$ with a plurisubharmonic weight $\varphi$. As an application, we show that the Hartogs domain $$ \Omega _\alpha : = \{(z,w) \in D\times \C: |w|< \delta^\alpha_D(z) \}, \ \ \ \alpha>0, $$ where $D\subset \subset \C$ and $\delta_D$ denotes the boundary distance, is Bergman complete if and only if every boundary point of $D$ is non-isolated.

Abstract:In this article we introduce higher order Bergman functions for bounded complete Reinhardt domains in a variety with possibly isolated singularities. These Bergman functions are invariant under biholomorhic maps. We use Bergman functions to determine all the biholomorhic maps between two such domains. As a result, we can construct an infinite family of numerical invariants from the Bergman functions for such domains in A(n) variety {(x,y,z) is an element of C-3 : xy = z(n+1)}. These infinite family of numerical invariants are actually a complete set of invariants for either the set of all bounded strictly pseudoconvex complete Reinhardt domain in A(n) variety or the set of all bounded pseudoconvex complete Reinhardt domains with real analytic boundaries in A(n) variety. In particular the moduli space of these domains in A(n) variety is constructed explicitly as the image of this complete family of numerical invariants. It is well known that A(n) variety is the quotient of cyclic group of order n + 1 on C-2. We prove that the moduli space of bounded complete Reinhardt domains in A(n) variety coincides with the moduli space of the corresponding bounded complete Reinhardt domains in C-2. Since our complete family of numerical invariants are computable, we have solved the biholomorphically equivalent problem for large family of domainsin C-2
Bergman functions on weakly uniformly perfect domains

Abstract:We contruct two classes of Zalcman-type domains, on which the Bergman distance functions have certain pre-described boundary behaviors. Such examples also lead to generalizations of uniformly perfectness in the sense of Pommerenke. These weakly uniformly perfect conditions can be characterized in terms of the logarithm capacity. We obtain lower estimates for the boundary behaviors of Bergman kernel functions on such domains.

Abstract:Recently, Yau has introduced Bergman function for any strongly pseudoconvex variety with only isolated singularities. This is a global biholomorphic invariant for strongly pseudoconvex variety. The purpose of this paper is to show that Yau's Bergman function is a complete invariant of a family of strongly pseudoconvex domains in A(1)-singularity. A(1) singularity can be viewed as the quotient of C-2 by the action of cyclic group of order two. Each strongly pseudoconvex domain in A(1) singularity corresponds to a strongly pseudoconvex domain in C-2. Hopefully our technique will shed some light on understanding strongly pseudoconvex domains in C-2.

Abstract:Let $\varphi$ be a holomorphic self map of the bidisc that is Lipschitz on the closure. We show that the composition operator $C_{\varphi}$ is compact on the Bergman space if and only if $\varphi(\overline{\mathbb{D}^2})\cap \mathbb{T}^2=\emptyset$ and $\varphi(\overline{\mathbb{D}^2}\setminus \mathbb{T}^2)\cap b\mathbb{D}^2=\emptyset$.

Abstract:In this paper, we first present some sufficient conditions for the upper semicontinuity and/or the continuity of the Bregman farthest-point map $Q_C^g$ and the relative farthest-point map $S_C^g$ for a nonempty $D$-maximally approximately compact subset $C$ of a Banach space $X$. We next present certain sufficient conditions as well as equivalent conditions for a Klee set to be singleton in a Banach space $X$. Our results extend and/or improve the corresponding ones of [Bauschke, et al., J. Approx. Theory, 158 (2009), pp. 170-183] to infinite dimensional spaces.

Abstract:In this article, we use the pluricomplex Green function to give a sufficient condition for the existence and the completeness of the Bergman metric. As a consequence, we proved that a simply connected complete Kahler manifold possesses a complete Bergman metric provided that the Riemann sectional curvature less than or equal to -A/rho(2), which implies a conjecture of Greene and Wu. Moreover, we obtain a sharp estimate for the Bergman distance on such manifolds.
