Abstract:It is proved that any bounded pseudoconvex domain in C-n is complete w.r.t. the Bergman metric if its boundary can be described locally as the graph of a continuous function in suitable coordinates for C-n. Further arguments are given concerning the stability problems of the Bergman kernel on non-smooth pseudoconvex domains.

Abstract:A characteristic for a complex Randers metric to be a complex Berwald metric is obtained. The formula of the holomorphic curvature for complex Randers metrics is given. It is shown that a complex Berwald Randers metric with isotropic holomorphic curvature must be either usually Kählerian or locally Minkowskian. The Deicke and Brickell theorems in complex Finsler geometry are also proved.

Abstract: The $p-$Bergman kernel $K_p(\cdot)$ is shown to be of $C^{1,1/2}$ for $1<p<\infty$. An unexpected relation between the off-diagonal $p-$Bergman kernel $K_p(\cdot,z)$ and certain weighted $L^2$ Bergman kernel is given for $1\le p\le 2$. As applications, we show that for each $1\le p\le 2$, $K_p(\cdot,z)\in L^q(\Omega)$ for $q< \frac{2pn}{2n-\alpha(\Omega)}$ and $|K_s(z)-K_p(z)| \lesssim |s-p||\log |s-p||$ whenever the hyperconvexity index $\alpha(\Omega)$ is positive. Counterexamples for $2<p<\infty$ are given respectively. An optimal upper bound for the holomorphic sectional curvature of the $p-$Bergman metric when $2\le p<\infty$ is obtained. For bounded $C^2$ domains, it is shown that the Hardy space and the Bergman space satisfy $H^p(\Omega)\subset A^q(\Omega)$ where $q=p(1+\frac1n)$. A new concept so-called the $p-$Schwarz content is introduced. As applications, upper bounds of the Banach-Mazur distance between $p-$Bergman spaces are given, and $A^p(\Omega)$ is shown to be non-Chebyshev in $L^p(\Omega)$ for $0<p\le 1$. For planar domains, we obtain a rigidity theorem for the $p-$Bergman kernel (which is not valid in high dimensional cases), and a characterization of non-isolated boundary points through completeness of the Narasimhan-Simha metric.

Abstract:By revisiting Tian's peak section method, we obtain a localization principle of the Bergman kernels on Kähler manifolds with complex hyperbolic cusps, which is a generalization of Auvray–Ma–Marinescu's (Math Ann 379:51–1002, 2021) localization result Bergman kernels on punctured Riemann surfaces . Then we give some further estimates when the metric on the complex hyperbolic cusp is a Kähler–Einstein metric or when the manifold is a quotient of the complex ball. By applying our method directly to Poincaré type cusps, we also get a partial localization result.

Abstract:Consider a bounded, strongly pseudoconvex domain D ⊂ C n with minimal smoothness (namely, the class C 2 ) and let b be a locally integrable function on D. We characterize boundedness (resp., compactness) in L p ( D ) , p > 1 , of the commutator [ b , P ] of the Bergman projection P in terms of an appropriate bounded (resp. vanishing) mean oscillation requirement on b. We also establish the equivalence of such notion of BMO (resp., VMO) with other BMO and VMO spaces given in the literature. Our proofs use a dyadic analog of the Berezin transform and holomorphic integral representations going back (for smooth domains) to N. Kerzman & E. M. Stein, and E. Ligocka.

Abstract:In this article, we use the pluricomplex Green function to give a sufficient condition for the existence and the completeness of the Bergman metric. As a consequence, we proved that a simply connected complete Kahler manifold possesses a complete Bergman metric provided that the Riemann sectional curvature less than or equal to -A/rho(2), which implies a conjecture of Greene and Wu. Moreover, we obtain a sharp estimate for the Bergman distance on such manifolds.

Abstract:Let $\Omega$ be a convex domain in $\mathbb{C}^n$ and $\varphi$ a convex function on $\Omega$. We prove that $\log{K_{\Omega,\varphi}(z)}$ is a convex function (might be identically $-\infty$) on $\Omega$, where $K_{\Omega,\varphi}$ is the weighted Bergman kernel. In particular, $\log{K_\Omega(z)}$ is a convex function if $\Omega$ is convex. We further show that $\log{K_\Omega(z)}$ is strictly convex if and only if $\Omega$ does not contain a real line.

Abstract:In this paper we attempt to develop a general p-Bergman theory on bounded domains in C-n. To indicate the basic difference between L-p and L-2 cases, we show that the p-Bergman kernel K-p(z) is not real-analytic on some bounded complete Reinhardt domains when p > 4is an even number. By the calculus of variations we get a fundamental reproducing formula. This together with certain techniques from nonlinear analysis of the p-Laplacian yield a number of results, e.g., the off-diagonal p-Bergman kernel K-p(z, center dot) is Holder continuous of order 1/2 for p > 1and of order 1/2(n+2) for p = 1. We also show that the p-Bergman metric Bp(z; X) tends to the Caratheodory metric C(z; X) as p -> infinity and the generalized Levi form i partial derivative(partial derivative) over bar logK(p)(z; X) is no less than B-p(z; X)(2) for p >= 2 and C(z; X)(2) for p <= 2. Abstract:Studying the behavior of real and complex geodesics we provide sharp estimates for the Kobayashi distance, the Lempert function, and the Carathéodory distance on $\mathcal{C}^{2,\alpha}$-smooth strongly pseudoconvex domains. Abstract:Let {D-k}, k = 1, 2, ..., be a sequence of bounded pseudoconvex domains that converges, in the sense of Boas, to a bounded domain D. Abstract:On a two dimensional Stein space with isolated, normal singularities, smooth finite type boundary, and locally algebraic Bergman kernel, we establish an estimate on the type of the boundary in terms of the local algebraic degree of the Bergman kernel. As an application, we characterize two dimensional ball quotients as the only Stein spaces with smooth finite type boundary and locally rational Bergman kernel. A key ingredient in the proof of the degree estimate is a new localization result for the Bergman kernel of a pseudoconvex, finite type domain in a complex manifold.
