Abstract:In recent years,Chinese universities made a big step in construction of Web-based courses.However,such problems as gap between theory and practice were quite obvious in Chinese practice of Web-based course design.This study aims to use a case study to explore the key factors that characterize high quality Web-based course.The selected course,named <Advanced Methods in Distance Education>,was taught by Dr.Dooley,who is from Texas A&M University.Characteristic analysis of the course found that such key aspects as management platform,instructional design,interaction design,performance assessment,and learning support contribute to its success.

Abstract:According to the author set up the practical experience of E-Business course in the computer, economic administered, international trade and other non-E-Business professional, analysis of the background and current situation of course. Proposing to bring together situation of profssional training courses targeting the focus of, from the combination of training objectives to guide their interest in learning to start. Emphasis on interactive teaching, Stress for different professions students to develop targeted educational programs and teaching contents. Teachers should make thematic content, groups of students, problem-solving. Shows examples of papers using a wide range of interactive teaching.

Abstract:General education has been the focus of attention in the international higher education for a long time.Advanced countries have accumulated a lot of experiences in this field,and some universities in China have actively undertaken experiments in recent years.Although it is commonly agreed that universities (especially comprehensive research universities) need to implement general education in the undergraduate study,people's understanding of general education and related concepts are not only different but also unclear.This article clarifies the definition of general education and its relationships with and/or differences from such related concepts as specialized education,liberal education,humanistic education,quality-oriented education,specialty education,as well as general courses and common courses.

Abstract:With an explosive growth of e-businesses worldwide, e-commerce in China is booming, leading to the development of e-commerce education. This paper is intended to investigate whether the education system in China accords well with the market demand and the status of e-commerce programs in China in order to seek strategies for China to cope with the challenges of global e-commerce empowered by fast updated information technologies. First, we construct a four-layer conceptual model to describe the relevant factors influencing e-commerce and e-commerce education. We then present the status of China’s e-commerce education in different educational categories. Although we find that current problems in China’s e-commerce education can be resorted in quantity and quality aspects, it generally is on the right track. Finally, we propose several main strategies for promoting the development of e-commerce education, in which the education system reformation is top priority and in which the government will play a critical role.

Abstract:This study explores and analyzes students’ difficulties in learning an ERP system to help design more appropriate teaching methods and materials. Global enterprises have widely used ERP systems to manage their operations effectively and efficiently. Hence, many business schools have offered courses on ERP systems to sharpen ERP skills for their students. To help design more appropriate teaching methods and materials for ERP learning, one must know students’ difficulties in understanding. This study analyzes students’ difficulties in learning the Oracle E-Business Suite ERP system through interviews and qualitative analysis. As a result, this study identifies five categories of problems in the various areas of the Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy. Their relevant educational objectives can guide the redesign of ERP teaching methods and materials. One of the difficulties belongs to the area of Remember Factual Knowledge. The rest of them are in Understand, Remember, Apply, and Analysis of Procedural Knowledge. Lastly, this study provides some implications for teaching ERP.

Abstract:The relationship between general education and specialty education has been an important issue in world higher education,and it has not been fully discussed or implemented either in theory or practice in China.This paper first introduces the new strategies adopted by the Yuanpei Program of Peking University in its implementation of general education and the impact of these strategies. The paper then examines the strategies of Yuanpei Program in dealing with the relationship be- tween general education and specialty education.Finally,relevant reform suggestions are ana- lyzed to highlight the major constraints in the implementation of general education in comprehen- sive research universities,which indicates that conditions are not fully ripe for an effective gener- al education in China today.

Abstract:In the context of economic globalization, cultivating students’ cross-cultural marketing ability is becoming more and more important; The implementation of bilingual teaching is an important way to cultivate and enhance this ability. In recent years, the rapid development of cross-border e-commerce and free trade zones has greatly increased the demand for bilingual marketing talents, which has promoted the rapid development of bilingual teaching of marketing specialty. From the perspective of international talent training, there are some problems in bilingual teaching of marketing specialty in Colleges and universities, such as textbook selection, teacher construction, students’ English level, teaching quality, curriculum incentive and so on. Based on the author’s five-year bilingual teaching experience of marketing specialty and the goal of international talent training, the bilingual teaching of marketing specialty can be improved from the following aspects: practicing the international educational concept.

Abstract:Based on the undergraduate program in e-commerce, this paper mainly discusses how to establish the reasonable bilingual teaching course program and strengthen students’ cross-cultural communication ability of e-commerce training and practices. Combined with the common goal of bilingual teaching in higher education, it is proposed from the perspectives of e-commerce professional knowledge system and talent cultivation target that the solid specialized theory and rich practical innovation ability should be emphasized to construct e-commerce bilingual teaching courses program based on the social demand. Furthermore, the e-commerce course program of bilingual teaching is put forward including three objectives as knowledge, quality and ability, covering four areas of course, such as disciplines basics, professional cores, professional electives and practical education, and some teaching highlights. From understanding of the connotation and the bilingual teaching mode and combining with the features of Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade e-commerce English teaching practice, it is proposed in this paper a reasonable evaluation system of bilingual teaching model based on four perspectives, the characteristics of teachers and students, course design and, curriculum organization and learning outcome based on comprehensive, motivational, subjective and instructive principle.

Abstract:Abstract As one of the core courses of the Business English major, “International Marketing English” integrates business marketing teaching and linguistic teaching, demonstrating interdisciplinary characteristics. At the same time, the course teaching presents a strong inclination to cater to talent cultivation needs of social and economic development, stressing the connection between theory and practice, which is facing strong teaching challenges. The integration of discipline teaching and practical social needs is emphasized in application-oriented teaching, which breaks away from the limitations of traditional teaching. It encourages the strategic advancement of the ‘International Marketing English program for business English majors. From the perspective of ecological education and scenario-based teaching theory, this paper explains the theoretical basis for application-oriented teaching in ‘International Marketing English’. It also proposes methods to promote application-oriented teaching in course teaching, including strengthening the integration of industrial development and talent cultivation, creating teaching scenarios, practicing on designated projects, and adopting diverse modes of evaluation.
Research on Cross-border E-commerce Financial Literacy Education for Business English Majors in Local Universities: Taking Hezhou University as an Example

Abstract:Currently, financial literacy education in our country is receiving increasing attention, and its importance is widely recognized. As the main place to carry out financial literacy education, schools play an important role in cultivating students' financial literacy. Taking Hezhou University as an example, this article conducts a questionnaire survey on the cross-border e-commerce financial literacy education of business English major students based on the ‘China Financial Literacy Education Standard Framework’, focusing on the crossborder e-commerce financial knowledge, financial skills and financial literacy of students. values. The study found that the target students have a vague concept of financial literacy and do not attach much importance to it. Students are exposed to a low proportion of finance-related content in cross-border e-commerce courses. Students’ crossborder e-commerce financial knowledge, skills, and values need to be strengthened. Starting from the requirements for the high-quality development of higher education in China, and drawing on the experience of domestic and foreign financial literacy education, it is proposed to create a dual channel for ‘teachers and students’ to popularize cross-border e-commerce financial literacy values, and to build an ideological and political embedding of ‘professional courses + financial literacy elements’ model, relying on the second classroom and school-enterprise practice to strengthen the application of cross-border e-commerce financial skills and other suggestions and countermeasures, providing certain reference suggestions for the training of business English majors in local universities and the reform of new liberal arts teaching.
