Abstract:According to the comprehensive reform thoughts of higher education in China, the resident undergraduate colleges need to transform to the applied technology education. This paper first analyzes the opportunities and difficulties faced by the automation specialty. Then the paper clarifies the relationship between the theoretical courses, the technical courses and the technical practice courses. This paper also puts forward the curriculum construction plan and suggestion of the applied technical undergraduate automation talents who are adapted to the social needs.

Abstract:As an important part of the process of application-oriented personnel training, practical teaching plays a special role in cultivating students' practical ability and innovative spiritual training, while theoretical teaching cannot. Based on many years of practice teaching mode reform, the research-driven practical teaching mode is summed up and addressed separately from the reform objectives, reform thinking, reform contents and related policies. Abstract:One of the key hot spots and difficulties in the construction of “Engineering Education Certification” and “New Engineering” is how to strengthen the cultivation of the college students’ ability to solve complex engineering problems. In this paper, a software and hardware experimental platform has been designed, which organically integrates automatic judgement and sensing communications with electromechanical integrated IoT measurement and control. And a teaching system of cross-grade supporting experimental course group based on this platform has been proposed, which is driven by the application function topics from the shallower to the deeper. It is an engineering ability training mechanism that can continuously carry out experimental teaching such as design, installation and adjustment from the lower grade to the higher grade. More than five years of teaching practice shows that this system has significantly improved the students’ professional research interest and ability to solve complex engineering problems.

Abstract:Based on the practical,contemporary,systematic and multidisciplinary features of automation discipline,the department of automation of Tsinghua University has integrated the laboratory resources of the whole department and reorganized The University Laboratory for Automation Education.The laboratory,by insisting on the principle of student-oriented,ability development as the core and coordinated growth of knowledge,ability and quality,has built a multi-level,comprehensive and research-based experimental teaching system to educate qualified students in automation discipline with solid foundation as well as broad knowledge. With overall planning and unified deployment of experimental teaching and other relevant resources,it improves the open operation mechanism of laboratories and realizes laboratory resources sharing and maximal efficiency.

Abstract:To adapt to the new direction of engineering education reform in China under the background of new engineering, and to promote the transformation and upgrading of intelligent manufacturing professionals, a virtual simulation practice teaching system based on Internet technology is constructed. Relying on "online + offline" resources, experimental modules are designed, a course resource library is built, a digital cloud platform is developed, and a "One Body, Two Wings" virtual simulation teaching and training system is established. Practice has shown that the virtual simulation system has the advantages of immersion, interaction, imagination, and reality, which can meet the basic needs of users and provide a safe and immersive experimental operation experience. The comparative data on practical effectiveness shows that virtual simulation teaching has significantly improved students' theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and innovative ability, making graduates highly desirable by enterprises. The virtual simulation system not only enhances user experience, but also improves students' learning effect, professional cognitive ability, and professional practice ability. The system provides strong technical support for the cultivation of intelligent manufacturing professionals, and is an efficient and practical tool in the field of teaching and training, with broad application prospects.

Abstract:The engineering practical courses mainly cultivates students'ability to master the engineering application.However,a typical problem is that students lack the engineering capacity.The reasons is that the teachers have almost no practical experience in engineering,and lack of the engineering application training during the teaching process.To address this issue,a blended teaching mode of"double teachers and double classrooms"has been proposed and implemented in national first-class courses.Relying on the national engineering practice education center jointly built with enterprises of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Group Co.,Ltd.,we invited experienced engineers to teach applications on engineering sites through smart classrooms,audio and video synchronization.Combined with summer production internships in enterprises,the combination of engineering and learning,theory and practice have been achieved,transformation of basic knowledge into application capabilities for students is promoted.The blended teaching mode of"double teachers and double classrooms"can provide beneficial reference for the reform and innovation of engineering practical courses teaching.
