Abstract:Firstly ,the new Euler‐Lagrange type cubic functional equation f (x+ y -2z)+f(y+ z -2x)+ f(z+ x -2y)+ 6f (x+ y+ z)= 9[f (x+ y)+ f (y+ z)+ f (z + x)] -18[f(x)+ f(y)+ f(z)] in Banach spaces was investigated .Secondly ,equivalence of six functional equations was discussed . Lastly , by using the fixed pointed alternative , the general solution to the above functional equation was given and the stability of cubic functional equation was proved .

Abstract:In this paper, we consider the existence of positive solutions for a system of fractional $ q $-difference equations with generalized $ p $-Laplacian operators. By using Guo-Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem, we obtain some existence results of positive solutions for this system with two parameters under some different combinations of superlinearity and sublinearity of the nonlinear terms. In the end, we give two examples to illustrate our main results.

Abstract:We present outlines of a general method to reach certain kinds of $q$-multiple sum identities. Throughout our exposition, we shall give generalizations to the results given by Dilcher, Prodinger, Fu and Lascoux, Zeng, and Guo and Zhang concerning $q$-series identities related to divisor functions. Our exposition shall also provide a generalization of the duality relation for finite multiple harmonic $q$-series given by Bradley.

$q$-Fractional Integral Operators With Two Parameters

Abstract:We use the Poisson kernel of the continuous $q$-Hermite polynomials to introduces families of integral operators, which are semigroups of linear operators. We describe the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of one family of operators. The action of the semigroups of operators on the Askey--Wilson polynomials is shown to only change the parameters but preserves the degrees, hence we produce transmutation relation for the Askey--Wilson polynomials. The transmutation relations are then used to derive bilinear generating functions involving the Askey--Wilson polynomials.

Abstract:In the lecture notes we start off with an introduction to the $q$-hypergeometric series, or basic hypergeometric series, and we derive some elementary summation and transformation results. Then the $q$-hypergeometric difference equation is studied, and in particular we study solutions given in terms of power series at $0$ and at $\infty$. Factorisations of the corresponding operator are considered in terms of a lowering operator, which is the $q$-derivative, and the related raising operator. Next we consider the $q$-hypergeometric operator in a special case, and we show that there is a natural Hilbert space --a weighted sequence space-- on which this operator is symmetric. Then the corresponding eigenfunctions are polynomials, which are the little $q$-Jacobi polynomials. These polynomials form a family in the $q$-Askey scheme, and so many important properties are well known. In particular, we show how the orthogonality relations and the three-term recurrence for the little $q$-Jacobi polynomials can be obtained using only the factorisation of the corresponding operator. As a next step we consider the $q$-hypergeometric operator in general, which leads to the little $q$-Jacobi functions. We sketch the derivation of the corresponding orthogonality using the connection between various eigenfunctions. The link between the $q$-hypergeometric operators with different parameters is studied in general using $q$-analogues of fractional derivatives, and this gives transmutation properties for this operator. In the final parts of these notes we consider partial extensions of this approach to orthogonal polynomials and special functions. The first extension is a brief introduction to the Askey-Wilson functions and the corresponding integral transform. The second extension is concerned with a matrix-valued extension of the $q$-hypergeometric difference equation and its solutions.

Abstract:Abstract In this paper, we consider a nonlinear sequential q -difference equation based on the Caputo fractional quantum derivatives with nonlocal boundary value conditions containing Riemann–Liouville fractional quantum integrals in four points. In this direction, we derive some criteria and conditions of the existence and uniqueness of solutions to a given Caputo fractional q -difference boundary value problem. Some pure techniques based on condensing operators and Sadovskii’s measure and the eigenvalue of an operator are employed to prove the main results. Also, the Ulam–Hyers stability and generalized Ulam–Hyers stability are investigated. We examine our results by providing two illustrative examples.

Abstract:In this short paper, we generalize Ismail–Zhang's q-2D Hermite polynomials (Trans Am Math Soc 369:6779–6821 (2017), [14]) with an extra parameter and prove that if an analytic function in several variables satisfies a set of partial differential equations of second order, then it can be expanded in terms of the product of the generalized q-2D Hermite polynomials. In addition, we give some generating functions as applications.

Abstract:In this paper, we show how to deduce several moment integrals by the method of q-difference equation. In addition, we obtain several generalizations of transformational identities by the technique of moment integrals. Meanwhile, we obtain some special cases of bilateral-unilateral series and the Rogers-Ramanujan identities as by-products. Moreover, we give two mixed generating functions for generalized Rogers-Szego polynomials by moment integrals and derive two transformational identities by symmetry. At last, a trilinear generating function for generalized Rogers-Szego polynomials is given by moment integrals.

Abstract:In this paper, we mainly focus on finding transcendental entire solutions of binomial and trinomial equations generated by q -shift operator in , to extend the results of Li and Xu (Axioms 126(10):1-19, 2021) and Zheng and Xu (Anal Math 48(1):199-226, 2022) completely in a different direction in terms of their q -shift counterpart. We have observed notable differences in the solutions derived from q -shift equations, including two different variants of q -difference equations, compared to the solutions obtained from the corresponding c -shift equations in . Our findings have been supported with several examples that illustrate these differences. Additionally, the introduction of two new lemmas not explored in existing literature further adds depth to the mathematical tools available for addressing such problems.

Abstract:Two sets of mutually commuting $q-$difference operators $x_i$ and $y_j$, $i,j=1, ...,N$ such that $x_i$ and $y_i$ generate a homomorphic image of the $q-$Onsager algebra for each $i$ are introduced. The common polynomial eigenfunctions of each set are found to be entangled product of elementary Pochhammer functions in $N$ variables and $N+3$ parameters. Under certain conditions on the parameters, they form two `dual' bases of polynomials in $N$ variables. The action of each operator with respect to its dual basis is block tridiagonal. The overlap coefficients between the two dual bases are expressed as entangled products of $q-$Racah polynomials and satisfy an orthogonality relation. The overlap coefficients between either one of these bases and the multivariable monomial basis are also considered. One obtains in this case entangled products of dual $q-$Krawtchouk polynomials. Finally, the `split' basis in which the two families of operators act as block bidiagonal matrices is also provided.

Abstract:We are investigating the existence of solutions to a system of two fractional q-difference equations containing fractional q-integral terms, subject to multi-point boundary conditions that encompass q-derivatives and fractional q-derivatives of different orders. In our main results, we rely on various fixed point theorems, such as the Leray–Schauder nonlinear alternative, the Schaefer fixed point theorem, the Krasnosel'skii fixed point theorem for the sum of two operators, and the Banach contraction mapping principle. Finally, several examples are provided to illustrate our findings.

Abstract:In this article, we construct explicit meromorphic solutions of first order linear $q$-difference equations in the complex domain and we describe the location of all their zeros and poles. The homogeneous case leans on the study of four fundamental equations, providing the previous informations in the framework of entire or meromorphic coefficients. The inhomogeneous situation, which stems from the homogeneous one and two fundamental equations, is also described in detail. We also address the case of higher-order linear $q$-difference equations, using a classical factorization argument. All these results are illustrated by several examples.

This investigation is carried out under coupled multi-point boundary conditions featuring q-derivatives and fractional q-derivatives of various orders.
