Status quo and outlook of the technologies on the treatment of electrolytic manganese wastewater

Abstract:The sources,characteristics and hazards of electrolytic manganese wastewater(EMW) are introduced,and the principles and research development on EMW treatments in recent years are summarized emphatically.Besides the flocculationg preapitation,the removing methods,such as micro-electrolysis technology,ferrite process and modified macromolecule method,are all the focus of research in the future.Especially with the development of heavy metal wastewater treatment technology,some methods may be applied to EMW treatment in the days to come.Several recommendations and outlook are put forward at the end.Combined application of various technologies is the potent way to EMW treatment.
