Abstract:Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of serum C-reactive protein( CRP),LDL-C( low density lipoprotein) vulnerable plaque in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods 80 patients with coronary heart disease were divided into 4 groups according to clinical manifestations and Braunwald classification criteria, including stable angina pectoris( SAP),30 cases,50 cases of unstable angina,of which there were 18 cases of UAP-I,20 cases of UAP-Ⅱand 12 cases of UAP-Ⅲ. Serum CRP and LDL-C levels were detected. Parallel artery angiography( CAG surgery) was performed to determine coronary artery disease in patients with type I,type II and type III,type Ⅱ identified as vulnerable plaque. Results Serum CRP,LDL-C levels were significantly different among 4 groups, with CRP in SAP group being the lowest and serum CRP,LDL-C level in UAP Ⅲ group the highest, significantly higher than the other three groups. In UAP-Ⅲ level group there were mainly type Ⅱ,accounting for 88. 34%. In SAP group plaque were mainly type I,accounting for 90. 00%. In UAP-Ⅱ group the plaques were mainly type Ⅱ,accounting for 55. 00%,in UAP-I group mainly type Ⅲ,accounting for 72. 22%. The proportion of type Ⅱ plaques was significantly higher than that in the other three groups. Conclusions As for patients with coronary heart disease, the higher the serum CRP and the LDL-C level, the higher the proportion of type Ⅱ plaque, with UAP-Ⅲ being the most common, suggesting that serum CRP,lipoprotein levels are closely related with vulnerable plaque in patients with coronary heart disease. Through the detection of CRP in patients with coronary artery diseases prognosis can be predicted.
