Remaking of the Spiritual Homeland of the Post-Quake Reconstruction

Abstract:The low quality of the buildings and poor planning of the towns done in the fast-food type construction of the past years,is largely responsible for the massive loss of human life during the Wengchuan earthquake.Now the chance is in our hand to design and build strong houses against quake and natural disasters,but we shall not build the quality houses and settlement only in the material terms,but also in spiritual terms.A quality dwelling shall be in a state of harmony of nature,man and spirits.Orientation and identification are two basic dimensions that shall be considered during the process of remaking of the dwelling of the quake survivors.
