Abstract:In this paper, some global attractivity conditions are obtained for delay logistic differential equation with instantaneous termsx′(t)=-r(t)[1+x(t)][cx(t)+F(t,xt)],t⩾0,where c∈[0,∞). These conditions extend and improve all existing relative results in literature.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider an impulsive delay Logistic model. First by mathematical analysis, we obtain the maximum and minimum values of solutions of the corresponding autonomous Logistic model. Then by applying the comparison theorem and constructing some suitable Lyapunov functionals, we discuss the permanence and the global attractivity of the model, based on the boundedness of solutions of the corresponding autonomous Logistic model. An example together with its numerical simulation is given to verify our main result.

We obtain some new sufficient conditions for the global attractivity of positive solutions of the equation, and show the applications of these results to some population models.

Abstract:We obtain a sufficient condition for global attractivity to occur in the delay difference equationX(n+1) = x(n) exp(beta(n) (1 - x(n-r))/(1 + x(n-r))).This leads to the fact that when 0 < beta less than or equal to 3/(r + 1), the positive equilibrium 1/2 of the genotype selection modely(n+1) = y(n)e(beta(1-2yn-r))/1 - y(n) + y(n)e(beta(1-2yn-r))is a global attractor for all solutions originated from positive initial conditions. Our result matches the computational result 0 < beta less than or equal to 4 cos(rpi/(2r + 1)) suggested in [3].

Abstract:In this paper, we study the existence of almost periodic solutions of a delay logistic model with fixed moments of impulsive perturbations. By using a comparison theorem and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, a set of sufficient conditions for the existence and global attractivity of a unique positive almost periodic solution is obtained. As applications, some special models are studied; our new results improve and generalize former results.

Abstract:In this paper, we provide sharp criteria of global attraction for a class of non-autonomous reaction–diffusion equations with delay and Neumann conditions. Our methodology is based on a subtle combination of some dynamical system tools and the maximum principle for parabolic equations. It is worth mentioning that our results are achieved under very weak and verifiable conditions. We apply our results to a wide variety of classical models, including the non-autonomous variants of Nicholson's equation or the Mackey–Glass model. In some cases, our technique gives the optimal conditions for the global attraction.

Abstract:In this paper the global attractivity of the nonlinear difference equationis investigated, where a,b, A ∈ （0,∞）, k is an positive integer and the initial conditions x- k, …, x-1 and x0 are arbitrary positive numbers. It is shown that the unique positive equilibrium of the equation is global attractive. As a corollary, the result gives a positive confirmation on the conjecture presented by Kocic and Ladas [1,p154].
