Abstract:The risk assessment for imported and exported food is a complex system process,which involves a large number of assessment factors and relies on effective risk evaluation model.In the paper,risk assessment method for imported and exported food based on risk assessment index hierarchy of food safety adapted for food supervision authorities and set pair analysis(SPA) theory is presented,which establishes the connection degree expression between the safety status of food samples and the food safety standards to assess the risk level of food samples.The method also takes the difference of calculating connection degree between qualitative and quantitative indexes into consideration.Finally,the effectiveness and feasibility of the presented method is proved by an example.

Abstract:The water quality health risk of water distribution system was analyzed,the concepts and the calculation methods of health risks of any single chemical pollutant in a region,area-superposed risk and system-integrated risk were put forward,and the health risk assessment model for water quality in distribution system was established,including region division,data collection and analysis,hazard judgment,exposure assessment,dosage-response assessment,risk characterization and risk management.The results of one case studied with this model show that the model combines the water quality with the public health risk,which has some direction significance for the health risk management of water distribution system.

Abstract:The aim of evaluation for food safety is to evaluate the food safety state with the hazard analytical data of various foods,and support the decision-making for administrators.In this paper,a new evaluation method for food safety,based on fuzzy evaluation theory was presented,where the variety of food,variety of hazard and difference of toxicity for hazard was considered,and the measurement data for every hazard was used to evaluate the risk index of the corresponding food using fuzzy mathematical method.Then the complex index of safety was completed.Finally,the analytical data of safety food imported to a coastal city was evaluated.

Abstract:There are a lot of risks in the software developing process. To control the risk, the sorts of risk are defined from the software development and project management. The paper presents four main parts of risk identification and risk analysis. The risks during software development process and possible solutions are analyzed while the risk quantity method, parameter model and experience data are presented. According to these risk identification methods and every phase situation of software development, the strategy of risk control is proposed. About eighty percent risk can be identified and controlled in the statistic application.

Frontiers in Sustainable Food Systems

Abstract:Background: Food safety has always been a major concern for people, and frequent food safety incidents pose a serious threat to people's health and safety. To identify high-risk patterns in the field of food safety and assist regulatory authorities in scientifically managing food safety risks, this study aims to evaluate food safety risks from multiple dimensions and provide a scientific basis for formulating targeted food safety management measures. Methods: The risk matrix method, along with the Borda method, is used to evaluate food safety risks. Based on the constructed food safety incident database, the risk matrix method is applied for static risk assessment from seven aspects: food categories, years, provinces, incident entities, causes, pollution sources, and links, and for dynamic risk assessment in different provinces. Results: The top five food categories in risk ranking are meat and meat products, fruits and vegetables, grain and grain products, other category, and aquatic products. Food safety risks show an increasing trend year by year, with the years 2006, 2012-2015 and 2019 having higher risk rankings. The top three provinces in risk ranking are Hunan, Guangdong, and Shaanxi. The top four entities in risk ranking are restaurants, enterprises, households, and canteens. The top four causes in risk ranking are human intention, human error, mismanagement, and production and social environment. The top four pollution sources in risk ranking include chemical pollution, other pollution, biological pollution, and food additives. The top three links in risk ranking include production and processing link, catering link, and agricultural production link. Across provinces, food safety risks in the years 2012-2015 are generally higher compared to other years, with the highest number of high-risk provinces in 2014. Implication: The findings of this study have significant implications for food safety management in China. By implementing food safety risk prevention and control countermeasures proposed, China can strengthen its food safety management framework, reduce the incidence of food safety incidents, and safeguard the health and well-being of its population.

Abstract:<p>Food safety risks has received great attention in all world. And the reasonable effectiveness of security warnings can reduce public panic and risk losses. Therefore, this paper proposes an improved risk early warning method for food safety detection data based on the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) integrating the quality control analysis method. The AHP based on the entropy weight can obtain risk values for food safety component data. And the risk matrix of the risk component is obtained by the risk probabilities of the components. Then the corresponding risk levels are calculated using the quality control analysis method to release the risk warning information. Finally, a case study of dairy product safety data from the GuiZhou province in China is conducted to verify the feasibility and reliability of the proposed method. Moreover, the proposed method can scientifically and reasonably determine the risk level information. Furthermore, the risk management is provided to effectively reduce risk losses of the country though relevant quality inspection departments.</p>

Abstract:Risk assessment is scientific instrument to solve current safety problems of agricultural products.Agricultural product risk assessment is to assess risks of chemical and biological hazards in plant products,livestock products and aquatic products.Different detailed factors and methods should be considered for chemical risk assessment and biological risk assessment while we are following the four steps:hazard identification,hazard characteristic,exposure assessment,and risk characteristic.It is discussed that how the tools of concentration model,predictive microbiological technologies,Monte-Carlo simulation and so on are applied to conducted chemical and biological risk assessment by many international organizations and foreign country agencies.In China,the basic conditions for risk assessment are not good.Thus,the emphasis of related studies should be focused on mechanism establishment,laboratorial data collection and predictive model building.

Abstract:Management of drinking water safety is changing towards an integrated risk assessment and risk management approach that includes all processes in a water supply system from catchment to consumers. However, given the large number of water supply systems in China and the cost of implementing such a risk assessment procedure, there is a necessity to first conduct a strategic screening analysis at a national level. An integrated methodology of risk assessment and screening analysis is thus proposed to evaluate drinking water safety of a conventional water supply system. The violation probability, indicating drinking water safety, is estimated at different locations of a water supply system in terms of permanganate index, ammonia nitrogen, turbidity, residual chlorine and trihalomethanes. Critical parameters with respect to drinking water safety are then identified, based on which an index system is developed to prioritize conventional water supply systems in implementing a detailed risk assessment procedure. The evaluation results are represented as graphic check matrices for the concerned hazards in drinking water, from which the vulnerability of a conventional water supply system is characterized.

Abstract:Abstract In recent years, with the frequent occurrence of food safety problems, people have begun to pay attention to food safety, especially the food safety of hotels. This paper proposed a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) management system to analyze food safety issues of hotels in order to improve the food quality and safety in hotel management. Through the practical application of the HACCP management system in the hotel catering industry, it was found that the amount of bacteria greatly reduced and the pass rate of tableware disinfection increased significantly in the hotel's food processing links, while customer satisfaction greatly improved. Therefore, the HACCP management system had great applicability in improving the food quality and safety of hotels.

Abstract:Food safety problem happens frequently in recent years, it is necessary to pre-warning the food safety risk, therefore the set-valued statistics model is applied in it. Firstly, research progress of food safety pre-warning system at home and abroad is summarized. Secondly, the theory model of set-valued Statistics is studied; thirdly, the structure of food safety risk pre-warning system is designed; then the corresponding pre-warning analysis steps of food safety risk based on set-valued statistics. Finally, the application of set-valued statistics model on food safety pre-warning is carried out, results show that the set-valued statistics method is an effective for analyzing the food safety problem.

From macro aspect, the question of food safety cannot be solved absolutely, we can but initiative respond to its. From micro aspect, we can solve an idiographic food safety question. The food safety prevention’s efficiency can be the most excellent, if the regulation and prevention costs for food safety equal to influence cost of insecurity food. The enterprises’ violation of the ethics promises is associated with enterprises’ utility function. The government regulation should consider the acceptable ethical principle, and embedded the ethical reasoning to food safety decision-making. Enterprises can initiatively produce safety food by effective institutions, food enterprises should drive by corporate social responsibility value.
