Abstract:In this paper, we consider an inhomogeneous problem for Ginzburg-Landau equation on a two dimensional compact manifold with smooth boundary. We prove that the problem has a unique global solution in a suitable space.

Abstract:The Ginzburg–Landau-type complex partial differential equations are simplified mathematical models for various pattern formation systems in mechanics, physics, and chemistry. Most work so far concentrates on Ginzburg–Landau-type equations with one spatial dimension (1D). In this paper, the authors study a complex generalized Ginzburg–Landau equation with two spatial dimensions (2D). Sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of global solutions for the initial-value problem of the generalized 2D Ginzburg–Landau equation are obtained. This rigorously establishes the foundation for further investigation of this type of model.

Abstract:In this paper, we describe several stationary conditions on weak solutions to the inhomogeneous Landau-Lifshitz equation, which ensure the partial regularity. For certain class of proper stationary weak solutions, a compactness result of the solutions, a finite Hausdorff measure result of the t -slice energy concentration sets and an asymptotic limit result of the Radon measures are proved. We also present a subtle rectifiability result for the energy concentration set of certain sequence of strong stationary weak solutions.

Abstract:Using the differential-difference method and viscosity vanishing approach, we obtain the existence and uniqueness of the global smooth solution to the periodic initial-value problem of the inhomogeneous, non-automorphic Landau-Lifshitz equation without Gilbert damping terms in one dimension. To establish the uniform estimates, we use some identities resulting from the fact vertical bar Z(x, t)vertical bar = 1 and the fact that the vectors {Z, Z(x), Z X Z(x)} form an orthogonal base of the space R-3.

Abstract:We prove the existence of an Inertial Manifold for 3D complex Ginzburg-Landau equation with periodic boundary conditions as well as for a more general cross-diffusion system (if we assume the dispersive exponent is not vanishing). The result is obtained under the assumption that the parameters of the equation are chosen in such a way that the finite-time blowup of smooth solutions does not take place. For the proof of this result, we use the method of spatio-temporal averaging recently suggested in [18].

When the initial datum belongs to H-s(0, L) (-1/2 < s <= 0) and the boundary data belong to some subspace of H s/2 + 1/4 (0, T), the complex Ginzburg-Landau equation is shown to be globally well-posed.

Abstract:In this paper we prove a global existence result for nonlinear Klein–Gordon equations in infinite homogeneous waveguides, R×M, with smooth small data, where M=(M,g) is a Zoll manifold, or a compact revolution hypersurface. The method is based on normal forms, eigenfunction expansion and the special distribution of eigenvalues of the Laplace–Beltrami on such manifolds.

Abstract:In this paper, we will show the existence of partially regular solutions to the initial–boundary value problem for Landau–Lifshitz equations with nonpositive anisotropy constants in three or four space dimensions. The partial regularity is proved up to the boundary both for the Dirichlet problem and for the Neumann problem. In addition, for the Neumann case, a generalized stability condition which ensures the partial regularity is given. For equations with positive or negative anisotropy coefficients, we will give two results of existence and uniqueness for the solutions corresponding to ground states.

Abstract:This paper focuses on establishing the existence of smooth solutions for the incompressible Landau–Lifshitz–Gilbert equation with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) interaction and V flow in two‐dimensional domains, including the torus and Euclidean space. The primary objective is to establish global existence results by investigating the conditions under which a smooth solution exists for all time, provided that the L2 norm of the initial magnetization gradient is sufficiently small. Rigorous mathematical proofs for these global existence results are provided by combining analytical techniques and energy estimates. These findings enhance our understanding of solution behavior and regularity in the Landau–Lifshitz–Gilbert equation with DM interaction, shedding light on its dynamics in different spatial domains.
