Abstract:At present,border gateway protocol is a mostly dynamic,distributed and inter-domain routing protocol used in WAN,it has plenty of routing control mechanisms.The inappropriate using of the MED(multi-exit-disc) attribute commonly induces to hot-potato routing and the persistent MED oscillation.This paper presented a routing policy technology called MED cheat to realize the inter-domain egress selection.It explicitly expatiated on the principles and concrete policy of MED cheat and optimized the way of MED cheat.In conclusion,validated the strategy by using the simulation software.
