Abstract:A multi agent cooperative intelligent frame is studied in this paper. A logical agent model and its implementation process are proposed at first. A multi agent cooperative variant design frame is mainly researched and its agent function is classified as management and service type, design and solving type, method and tool type. Finally, an agent design process is analyzed.

Abstract:The introduction of the full paper discusses relevant matters and then proposes the new design mentioned in the title,which we believe is more effective than previous ones and which is explained in sections 1 and 2.Their core consists of:"In order to improve the flexibility,robustness and adaptability for multi agent system in dynamic and uncertain environment,SIMAS architecture is introduced to design and model swarm-intelligence based multi agent system.This architecture applies swarm intelligence theory to non-swarm multi agent system.SIMAS is established by top-down task partition and bottom-up task allocation,and the threshold model of swarm-intelligence theory is used to achieve self-organized task allocation." Simulation experiments are carried out on multi-robot pursuing platform;their results,presented in Figs.3 through 6,and their analysis preliminarily show that our work is indeed effective.

Abstract:With the development of Internet, the environment of distributed systems is very different from that of traditional ones. Due to the diversity and heterogeneity in terms of the types of client devices and network connections that people use to access the systems as well the special needs and preferences that end users might have,. system adaptability, interoperability, reusability and reliability, etc are very complex and difficult to solve. Agent and agent-based computing provide the natural and valid means for building complex distributed applications and are becoming a powerful paradigm for designing and developing complex software systems. In this paper, we address some of fundamental challenges in supporting large-scale distributed system: adaptability, interoperability, reusability and reliability, and a multi-agent framework is proposed for constructing those systems.

Abstract:A distributed mixed-traffic flow model based on techniques of Multi-Agent Systems is designed and a framework of urban mixed-traffic simulation system is proposed. The traffic flow model can fully exert agent′s autonomy and cooperation to show the complicated trait of mixed-traffic. The simulation system has many advantages such as concise framework, friendly interface, easy extension, and towards intelligent transportation systems, etc.

Abstract:A new method for package design is proposed, which is based on multi-agent. The model of corresponding package design system and function assigning for each agent are also discussed. The package design process drived by package function is researched here. Moreover, cooperative mechanism among agents are concluded as choice agent first, agent run by orders, the priority of structure agent and package function achieving record. At last, an example of package design for fresh milk is given to illustrate the new method.

Abstract:As a widely used pattern for building open and distributed applications,multi-agent systems are becoming a promising paradigm for research and application.Agent-Oriented Software Engineering becomes more and more mature under the support of the Unified Modeling Language (UML).As a result,several agent-oriented methodologies for de- veloping multi-agent systems have been proposed,with the aim to provide tools,practical methods,and techniques. With the development of Web Service,XML becomes a standard for data organization and exchange.The current works have a little support to XML documents in their multi-agent systems.In this paper,we design a multi-agent system- XMAS based on XML.We use a Rooted Connected Directed Graph to present XML document data model and give XML schema extraction algorithm.We also offer function of parsing XML document aud support to Web Service.Dur- ing the data store process,index optimization makes XMAS have good performance on data retrieval.

Abstract:Virtual organization model is an agent cooperation model presented in the research of e-business.Web services technology provides a mechanism to support cooperation and collaboration of multi agents.A framework for multi-Agent system management and communication is presented,called In-Agent,which is based on virtual organization model and Web services technology.In-Agent uses UDDI as its register center to manage agent register information,and uses SOAP as its communication tool to transfer information between agents.In-Agent also provides toolkits for system management and monitoring.With In-Agent,developing and deploying a multi-Agent system is more convenient.

Abstract:In order to enhance the agility and expansibility of simulation systems, a control function framework for distributed multi-agent simulation systems was proposed based on the introduction of the Agent technique from the angle of the service oriented architecture. The framework included the simulation running support system, the master agent, the domain agent and its sub-agent. The agent classifications and the functions inside these entities were described. At the same time, the agent communication interfaces and procedures that could guarantee the high efficacy of interactions among agents of different levels were discussed. Finally, a prototype system was created based on the above mentioned infrastructure and method. The research result indicated that the application of agent techniques could help to strengthen the criterion of distributed simulation systems and improve their reusability and collaboration interoperability.

Abstract:With the wide range of community needs, the rapid development of information technology and the rapid extension of the Internet, modern distance education has been more and more widely used. However, the current prevalence distance education system has series of drawbacks such as poor intelligence, lacking interactive tools, the loose knowledge structure, not high degree of resource sharing. According to Multi-Agent features and the process of daily teachers' guide for the students intelligent teaching process is analyzed based on Multi-Agent, and a new modern design models of distance education system is presented based on Multi-Agent. Its main functions and some of the key technologies of the system to achieve are discussed. The model of the intelligent Agent may obtain students' information. Using the repository to guide the students to realize the automatic answer to students. © 2010 IEEE.

Abstract:Multi-agent simulation has extensive applications. When the number of agents in the system is very large and the dynamics of agents is complicated, current multi-agent simulation methods or parallel simulation methods are hard to apply. Thus, it is important to develop efficient simulation methods for these systems. To efficiently simulate this kind of systems, a two-layer framework of parallel simulation for multi-agent systems was proposed. Additionally, an approach to accelerate the simulation was proposed. Experimental results showed that the approach is effective.

Abstract:In order to develop a multi-agent system efficiently,there is a pressing need for system modeling techniques that permit their complexity to be effectively managed. Since the Object-Oriented modeling techniques have existed popularly,we illustrate a new approach based on them,which is named Agent-Oriented modeling techniques. The approach is based on a particular Belief-Desire-Intention (BDI) architecture,including a belief model,a goal model and a plan model from the internal viewpoint,and an agent model and an interaction model from the external viewpoint. Moreover,the approach can be extended to be applicable to other architectures sufficiently. In this paper,we introduce each model in detail.
