Abstract:Along with China's reform and opening-up since 1978,a great many peasants have migrated from the countryside to the urban areas.The problem of peasant-workers is increasingly attractive to the scholars.In terms of social stability,social security should cover the peasant-workers.Numerous papers have sprung up in this field since 2005 but we don't know if the social security of peasant-workers will influence the competitive ability of business enterprises in China.We don't have an explicit answer and the peasant-workers haven't got social security.There are many things missing in these studies.(1) Although there have been so many studies in this field,there is still a lack of a social security system for the peasant-workers,let alone a social relief and social security system.There are more papers on social insurance than papers on the social relief system and the social welfare system.Papers on factors that affect social insurance of peasant-workers and peasant-workers as personal factors overwhelm those on business enterprises.The research on social security of peasant-workers based on competition capacity should be reinforced.(2) The study of the social security of peasant-workers does not suit the practice of the social security of peasant-workers.(3) The study on this issue is too simple.We hope to benefit from other fields.At the end of this survey,further possible directions are pointed out for the studies aiming at a whole system for the peasant-workers.The author proposed some research areas that should be strengthened in the near futures.One is enriching the contents of researches on the social security of peasant-workers.The other is the research on social security of peasant-workers based on competition capacity.System innovation of social security of peasant-workers is very important.
