Abstract:Ouyang Xiu is a distinguished poet in the evolution of Ci, who carried forward the songs into the future. On the basis of Tang Wudai Dynasty Ci, he brought forth new changes in artistic conception, content as well as format, which hewed a path for Ci development since North and South Song Dynasty. The impact pushed the emergence of a set of songs(GuZi Ci) and Man Ci. Ouyang Xiu manifested his recreational life and genuine emotions by Ci with a varying but natural and passionate style which ranked the top in the songs arena of North Song Dynasty.

Abstract:The core problem of the Vietnamese culture and in some sense civilization, isits historical bond with the phenomena of the Chinese art, script and thought.The present work discusses the interconnection or influence of the classical Chinese poetry mostly of the Tan and Song era on the rime, prosody and most of all metrology of the Vietnamese verse of the period. The time when this genre was born, developed and matured and its rules shaped in full accordance with the classical model. Specifics of this process is the main content of the first part of this paper. The second is the analyses of some Vietnamese masterpieces in the contextof the classical poetic tradition.

Abstract:It can be said that Tang poetry achieved great and brilliant achievements in Chinese literature with two typical representatives, Du Fu and Li Bai. Tang poetry had a great influence on Vietnamese literature, leading to the birth of poetry of Tang rules. Referring to Vietnamese poetry of Tang rules, we must mention Nguyen Khuyen - "the poet of Vietnamese landscape villages". His poetry makes readers feel drunk in the simplicity but still retains its shimmering, magical, and unusually charming features, showing a profound reception of the influence of Chinese Tang poetry, especially from the poet Du Fu. Comparing Du Fu's poetry and Nguyen Khuyen's poetry clarifies the reception of foreign cultural and literary quintessence and affirms the role and position of compositions imbued with Vietnamese national cultural identity is always a research direction with scientific and practical significance.

Abstract:Tang poetry is a special poetic phenomenon of Chinese literature, including works that lasted throughout the Tang Dynasty, from the time Emperor Gaozu of Tang Li Yuan established the dynasty, until the collapse of the Tang Dynasty, a period of nearly 300 years (618-907). This is considered the golden age of Chinese poetry. In the Complete Tang Poetry published in 1707, there were 900 books, 30 volumes, and 48,900 poems by more than 2,200 poets of the Tang Dynasty. Tang poetry has a profound influence on Vietnamese literature, especially the absorption of the influence of authors such as Du Fu, Li Bai, Bai Juyi... Comparing the absorption of the influence of Tang poetry, China with that of Vietnamese poetry authors to clarify the absorption of the influence of foreign cultural and literary quintessence, and at the same time affirming the role and position of works imbued with the cultural identity of the Vietnamese nation is always a research direction of scientific and practical significance. Therefore, within the scope of this research, we will focus on comparing the theme of nature in the poetry of Du Fu and Nguyen Khuyen.

Abstract:The Tang Dynasty had a prosperous economy and political stability and good educational policies marking the golden age of Tang Poetry with the greatest number of poets and the most brilliant number of compositions in the history of classical Chinese poetry. As a precious cultural heritage, Tang poetry and the culture of the Tang Dynasty were positively received in Vietnam... Vietnam has been many in-depth research works about regarding the influence and reception of some typical poets of the Tang period, namely DuFu, Li Bai, Bai Ju Yi... Other Tang poets are still faint silhouettes. In the process of studying the history of the propagation and reception of Tang poetry into Vietnam, we have more knowledge about Tang poems composed by poets during their exile in our country. They have an intimate relationship with Vietnamese writers, so they have had the opportunity to disseminate the Tang poetry, and have contributed several poems with the enormous value in content and art at the same time. Within the scope of the article, we focus on introducing and surveying poetry in the exile of two poets of the Early Tang period – namely Du Shen Yan and Shen Quan Qi. The survey of poems written in a special historical period by two poets shows that the beauty and undying vitality of the Tang poetry is also the contribution of poems describing Vietnam’s nature, landscapes, and Vietnamese.

Abstract:This paper intends to uphold the works of Gong Zizhen contains some seeds of the later new literature of May 4th Movement. It begins from an analysis of the main feature of the new literature—“self-discovery”, and examines the common feature shared in Gong's thoughts. Then it continues with a comparison between Gong's Bing mei guan ji and Yu Pingbo's Gardener, revealing their similarity in defying the restrain of individuality. And also it highlights the tragic and unrelenting pursuit of independent personality in Gong's works, and compares it with that in Lu Xun's works. Finally, it examines the new factors in Gong's love lyrics.

Abstract:Focus on the personal academic history of Zhu Guangqian,the most innovative and blend with the aesthetic results of modern literature before 1949,is his Monographs of the literary tastes written from 1924 to 1948.It was a rare combination of modern literature and modern academic and provided the position and lines of aesthetics for his twice qualified for editor in chief of "Literary Magazine",the base of the Beijing School,from 1930s to 1940s.This combination was not only reflected in the Beijing Scholar’ Spirit of grand,free and serious,but also gave an expression that the taste of the Beijing School which was known as Zhou Zuoren and Fei Ming,exactly agreed with Zhu’s "contrast,transition" structure.It provided us with a vigorous,hidden deep aftertaste,which was quite different from the "flag and bomb" of Leftist literature.So when Lu Xun argue with Zhu over the "Jingmu"(静穆) case,was built on aesthetic interest or culture position,rather than politics.

Abstract:The works by Chinese Hong Kong writer Jin Yong (1924-2018) fare in the focus of Chinese readers’ attention as the exemplified wu-xia literature. His novels only recently became the object of literary studies within China, and are seen as an alternative to the literary discourse founded by the May Fourth Movement. The article is focused on the transcultural qualities of his prose. Though the imagery and background in his works are distinctly ancient Chinese, embodying the genre principle ancient clothing“’, a lot of techniques, including plot development, characters’ traits are highly reminiscent of Western literature, namely the works by A. Dumas and Shakespearean drama. The Chinese component in the work by Jin Yong is defined as threefold. The first and the most easily noticed is the language, drastically different from China mainland official Putonghua or Mandarin, seen as a complicated sometimes to eccentricity mixture of baihua and wenyan, the lively bright and colorful idiom literally breathing the Chinese tradition. The second component is defined by the titular wu-xia genre. The necessary core of Jin Yong’s novels imagery is the ethics and aesthetics of Chinese legendary “river and lake” chivalric society, with its strong and straightforward sense of justice, martial arts, romance, mysticism and complicated political intrigues. The third component is represented by the vast dialogue with the Chinese canon, from the ancient chronicles to the pre-modern novels such as “The Dream of the Red Chamber’’. It can take the form of creative rethinking and character modernization, almost always with distinct irony.

Abstract:Abstract This article argues that the classical verse of three twentieth-century writers, Chen Yinke 陳寅恪 (1890–1969), Nie Gannu 聶紺弩 (1903–86), and Wang Xindi 王辛笛 (1912–2004), is significant to the canon of contemporary Chinese literature. The literary historical merit of their poetry is due not only to its aesthetic accomplishments but even more to the poets' specific responses to the challenges posed to human dignity during the thought reform campaigns of the 1950s and the Cultural Revolution. Whereas Chen Yinke's last twenty years demonstrate the faith and hauteur of a scholar who wore the mantle of the entire classical tradition, Nie Gannu expresses the deepest despair through deceptively humorous rustic topics, and Wang Xindi's grief over separation and loss recall Du Fu's poetry of the An Lushan Rebellion. Although the thirty years between the establishment of the People's Republic of China through the end of the Cultural Revolution may have been a time when intellectuals were intimidated into conformity or silence, these three poets show that such hardship created an opportunity to exalt the spirit of individual dignity, if only through poetry.

Abstract:With the significant growth of China's comprehensive national power, Chinese culture should not only "bring in" but also "go out". Chinese culture is extensive and profound, and classical literature has reached its peak in the Tang and Song dynasties. Jiangxi has been full of natural resources and outstanding people since ancient times, especially in the Song dynasty, when people of talent came forth in large numbers and created brilliant heritage of classic literary works for their offspring. Therefore, study on the translation of classics by JX native literati of Song Dynasty has very important academic value, application value and popularization meaning. Based on the modern translation aesthetics theory, this paper discusses how English translation of Chinese classics represents the beauty and the aesthetic value of the original from the perspective of rhetorical devices, form, images, and emotion respectively, in the hope to carry forward Chinese classics and Chinese culture.

Abstract:The city of Shanghai in the late 19 th century and early 20 th century was the forefront of confrontation between traditional Chinese culture and the modern Western culture.The ci poem,as an ancient form of Chinese literature,is where such confrontation was most obviously manifested.Shen Bao,a newspaper created in Shanghai during this period,published over 1300 ci poems by nearly 350 authors.A study of these poems throw great light upon the evolution of Chinese literature,and Chinese culture in general,in such a transitional stage of Chinese history.

Abstract:the classical poetry anthologies in the Ming Dynasty collects a great number of maxims, proverbs and oth-ers, which, on the one hand, inherited the style classification and the integration of diverse values as evidenced in Wenxin Diaolong(Carving a Dragon at the Core of Literature) by Liu Xie, and, on the other, was directly impacted by Yang Shen’s Fengyayi Pian (On Elegance), Gujin Feng Yao (Folk Songs) and Gujin Yan (Proverbs: Past and Present) and by the academic atmosphere of advocating the classical, retro and liberal thoughts represented in the works. Toward the end of the Ming Dynasty, this trend was blended with the spirit of"self soul expression", curiosity and uniqueness advocacy and revealed its liberal thoughts, classic addiction and unconventionality in the motto writ-ings and Gushigui(Return to Classic Poems).
