Abstract:Introduction was made to the fundamental structure of a new type of Halbach permanent magnet array which was applied in high accuracy planar motor and accurate analytical analysis was made to the magnet ifeld of this kind of permanent magnet array by setting up the rel-evant analytical mathematic model to get the corresponding analytical formulas. This method could replace time-consuming triaxiality ifnite ele-ment calculation with features of high accuracy and easy implementation. The results of comparison with the ifnite element method prove that this analytical method is validity, providing deifnite, theoretical basis for the calculation of high accuracy planar motor.
