Abstract:In this article, we prove that if F is a family of meromorphic functions in a domain D such that for each pair of functions f and g in F, f(n) f' and g(n) g' share a non-zero value b in D, with n >= 2, then F is normal in D. The result is not true when n = 1.

Abstract:In this paper, we mainly discuss the normality of two families of functions concerning shared values and proved: Let F and G be two families of functions meromorphic on a domain D ⊂ ℂ, a 1 , a 2 , a 3 , a 4 be four distinct finite complex numbers. If G is normal, and for every f ε F , there exists g ε G such that f ( z ) and g ( z ) share the values a 1 , a 2 , a 3 , a 4 , then F is normal on D .

Abstract:This paper investigates the relationship between the normality and the shared values for a meromorphic function on the unit disc Δ. Based on Marty’s normality criterion and through a detailed analysis of the meromorphic functions, it is shown that if for every f ∈ $\mathcal{F}$, f and f(k) share a and b on Δ and the zeros of f(z) − a are of multiplicity k ⩾ 3, then $\mathcal{F}$ is normal on Δ, where $\mathcal{F}$ is a family of meromorphic functions on the unit disc Δ, and a and b are distinct values.

Abstract:Then following result is proved: If f is a transcendental entire function, such that the family G of all functions g holomorphic in the domain D(∈)C for which every zero of f(g)-α1 is of multiplicity ≥2,f(g)-α2 and g-α2 share 0 IM in D, where α1 and α2 are two distinct finite values, then G is normal in D.This result extends Theorem 1 of paper in Bergweiler.The following result is also proved: If R is a rational function with degR≥2 (respectively ≥3, and R has three distinct finite fixed points in the complex plane) such that the family F of all functions f holomorphic (respectively meromorphic) in the domain D(∈)C for which R of(z)-z and f(z)-z share 0 IM in D, then F is normal in D.The results extend the corresponding results due to Fang-Yuan and Chang-Fang-Zalcman respectively.Examples are provided to show that the main results in this paper, in a sense, are the best possible.

Abstract:In this paper, we continue to discuss the normality concerning omitted holomorphic function and get the following result. Let $$\mathcal{F}$$ be a family of meromorphic functions on a domain D, k ≥ 4 be a positive integer, and let a(z) and b(z) be two holomorphic functions on D, where a(z) ≢ 0 and f(z) ≢ ∞ whenever a(z) = 0. If for any $$f \in \mathcal{F}$$, f′(z) − a(z)fk(z) ≠ b(z), then $$\mathcal{F}$$ is normal on D.

Let F be a family of meromorphic functions on D, all of whose zeros are of multiplicity at least k. If there exist b not equal 0 and h > 0 such that for every f is an element of F, (E) over bar(f)(0) = (E) over bar(f)(k)(b) and 0 < \f((k+1))(z)\ less than or equal to h whenever z is an element of (E) over bar(f)(0), then F is a normal family on D. The case (E) over bar(f)(0) = empty set is a celebrated result of Gu [5].

Abstract:In this paper, we prove two normality criteria for a family of meromorphic functions. The first criterion extends a result of Fang and Zalcman[Normal families and shared values of meromorphic functions II, Comput. Methods Funct. Theory, 1(2001), 289 - 299] to a bigger class of differential polynomials whereas the second one leads to some counterexamples to the converse of the Bloch's principle.
