Abstract:International medical students speaking rare languages are characterized by insurmountable language barrier,difficulty in learning,weakness in basic theory,difficulty in teaching administration,and lack of working specification in clinical manipulation.Reform of clinical teaching was based on these characteristics.During our teaching process,clear teaching principles were made,teaching methods were improved,and teaching materials of various media were carefully chosen and compiled.We have achieved good teaching results,and all the international students speaking rare languages felt satisfied with our teaching.

Abstract:It has become the aims of some top Chinese universities to train high-quality people and innovators with an international vision and to build themselves into world-class institutions.This paper analyzes the necessity to develop students’ ability of using professional English in top Chinese universities at present.This paper discusses about the necessity and significance to teach disciplinary courses in English considering the current problems of teaching General English in Chinese higher education context.The discussion also bases itself on the requirements for undergraduate students of Zhejiang University in order to build itself into a top-notch international university with world-leading disciplines.The requirements include visiting overseas countries or regions for academic purposes during their full-time study,joining Student Research Training Program,attending international academic conferences,reading technical literature in English for research,going abroad for further studies after graduation,etc.This paper also discusses the positive effect of teaching disciplinary courses in English to facilitate the going-abroad of students in China and the coming-in of overseas students,and to drive the materials science discipline of Zhejiang University to a higher level.

Abstract:To meet the demands of internationalization in higher education and cultivation highquality medical talents, the Institute of Pathology of Zhejiang University trains a bilingual teaching faculty through "sending the young teachers abroad and calling in the famous professors for demonstration", develops bilingual teaching courses from textbooks, question banks and teaching website and reforms the bilingual experimental teaching based on multi-media, virtual pathological slides and clinical pathological discussion. After 20 years bilingual pathological teaching experience, an excellent bilingual pathological teaching group is growing up and this teaching group contributes to the formation of high-caliber medical talents.

Abstract:Bilingual teaching of biochemical course has been implemented in medical education under eight-year system of our medical college.From the assessments of student feedback and teachers' evaluation to the teaching results,we have found that the bilingual teaching of biochemistry can improve the students' understanding about professional words in English.And most students can master the basic knowledge of biochemistry,which can facilitate their following courses.We have accumulated the experiences in bilingual teaching practices,to further explore the teaching method in training of research medical personnels.

Abstract:Biochemistry is a comprehensive discipline involving structure, function and interrelationships of life at the molecular level. Globally, more and more educational institutions are using bilingual teaching as a means to improve students' language ability and subject level. However, in the bilingual teaching of biochemistry, the integration of ideological and political education is often ignored, which leads to the lack of profound understanding of ideology and morality while learning academic knowledge. Therefore, the study of how to effectively integrate ideological and political education into the bilingual teaching of biochemistry has become an urgent problem to be solved. This paper aims to explore how to effectively integrate ideological and political education in bilingual teaching to improve students' academic and ideological education. The paper first analyzes the current situation and challenges of the bilingual biochemistry teaching, and then proposes a series of innovative practical strategies to strengthen the application of ideological and political education in the biochemistry teaching. Finally, the empirical study and case analysis demonstrate the effectiveness and utility of these strategies.

Abstract:According to analysis of Chemical Engineering English, the problems of teaching materials and methods in Subject-Based English were listed in this paper. For improvement, five aspects has been proposed both to recognize the importance of the course and to solve the problems by laying emphasis on construction and optimization of teaching materials, strengthening the team of teachers, reforming teaching mode and updating examination model. Furthermore, it was also put forward that bilingual courses can not replace Subject-Based English.

Abstract:In the inorganic chemistry courses of medical universities, the Moso Teach software is used to carry out the design of online and offline blended teaching combined with case discussions. The results show that compared with the control group, the students in the experimental group interspersed with case discussions are more interested in learning, their final grades are significantly improved. Students have a deeper understanding and mastery of knowledge, can apply what they have learned. Practical results show that the blended teaching has achieved satisfactory teaching results.

Abstract:Since 1981,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region has been carrying out bilingual education of the Zhuang language and Mandarin Chinese.Investigating the relationship between language teaching and ethnic culture as well as the school curriculum,the study finds that the major problems include the utilitarianism of teaching goals,the excessive uniformity of teaching contents,and the incomplete curriculum management.It is proposed that the reform and development of Zhuang-Chinese bilingual education should be transformed from instrumentalism to resourcism,from singular culture-orientedness to integration of diversified cultures,and from experimental teaching to the building of a curriculum system.

Abstract:Bilingual education plays a key role in providing international-oriented talents today. However, due to the lack of experience and short-time of practice, bilingual education faces many challenges and difficulties in Chinese universities. Particularly some courses involve differences across countries and hence bring serious questions on whether we should and how we could bring out bilingual education accordingly. Based on the first-hand experience of bilingual lecturing on financial statements analysis in an independent college, the paper points out the challenges in bilingual education due to course feature and students status, and proposes solutions from an application-training perspective .
