Higher Education Research:A Perspective of Education

Abstract:As higher education research produced out of education,most researches completely put higher education out of education system for a long time.In the view of multi-disciplinary,higher education is deemed more as social problems shared by the various disciplines rather than purely educational problems.Because lack of the education perspective,higher education studies seems as more in name than in reality,and higher education research becomes a rootless broad multidisciplinary field.In the organization establishment level,current research in higher education has make progress in academic institutionalization and it has been obtained disciplinary institution in universities of our country,but in the discipline level,re-thinking and un-thinking on higher education research is necessary,re-examine the great value of education to the study of higher education,make it clear that education of"higher education"is the essential foundation for a mature higher education research or higher education studies achieving an independent discipline.
