Abstract:Traditional top-down rural planning models result in poor planning and construction feedback.Unnecessary organizations, redundant construction, and the loss of local character are common problems of this model.A bottom-up model should be established for public service facilities and infrastructure.The roles of governments, planners, and local residents should be clarified to establish a physical and institutional hub to promote new socialist countryside construction.
