A New Perspective of Analyzing Boone Library School

Abstract:Boone Library School has achieved great success in the history of library specialized school establishment in recent China. Applying social capital theory, we can find that the School had interacted actively with local society, national community and alumni, in-ternational societies, which formed an external network of the School. High-level teachers, outstanding students, harmony relationships between the teachers and students formed a good internal network. The external network and internal network, connected tightly by the service spirit of Christian doctrine, the values of patriotism and liberal democratic academic atmosphere, laid a solid foundation for the School development.
