Abstract:Landscape design for a green community should be favorable for the ambient ecological environment and for enhancement of both the local climate of a residential area and the environmental quality of life. This paper presents optimization methods for plant landscape design that take account of results of comparisons of noise reduction effects, heat island temperature decreases and effects on ventilation. These methods are based on different plant configurations and various luminous environments, such as exterior sunshine and shaded areas after the simulation of exterior luminous, acoustic and thermal environments of a residential area using the analytic software ECOTECT, CADNA/A, and PHEONICS. Three different types of residential buildings are simulated including a faculty apartment in the Xixi Campus of Zhejiang University, the Huaqing Villa and the Gangwan Jiayuan faculty apartment of Zhejiang University, China, based on green building design theory. In addition, the methods and process flow of landscape design of green residential areas are also described for the improvement of the exterior physical living environment.

Abstract:The paper takes the disign of the residential area as an example to bring forward a design method using in the programming project, which is forming after the characteristics of the project site are concluded from its geography, appearance, fabrici-etc. In this project, with the thorough analysis of the site, and the detailed research on its original ecosystem, the design tries to achieve a perfect combination of the residential building and the hilly geography.

Abstract:On the investigation of the ecological environment of Lanzhou City,its ecological function zoning was discussed with the spatial characteristics of the ecosystem,and its sensitive aspects and the current services.A planning idea of dual-circle structure was established,which could compromise between the social needs and the most fitting ecological functions in the urban ecosystem.Following this conceptual planning and the basic principles of ecological function zoning,Lanzhou area was divided into four first-class eco-functional zones and three second-class eco-functional zones.Besides,their main features,key issues and dominant ecological functions were clearly described to provide a scientific basis for establishing a good ecological structure of Lanzhou City.

Abstract:Abstract Traditional houses in Guanzhong area are typical regional sustainable green buildings, which contain ecological wisdom and cultural connotations that are in harmony with the environment. This article takes Xiaojiapo Village in Lantian County as the research object. Based on the integration of traditional residential culture inheritance and green development, this paper conducts a more systematic study on settlement site selection, courtyard layout, and building structure. “Road” Shaanxi section of traditional residential building art and folk culture subject research has added results, and also provides an early stage for the protection and inheritance of traditional residential buildings in the Guanzhong area.

Abstract:The northern Guangxi region has beautiful scenery, and its special landform type and the cultural characteristics of multi-ethnic settlement give birth to the traditional architectural culture with distinct regional characteristics. The traditional dry dwellings in northern Guangxi take advantage of the landscape through the wooden pillars, so that the building is no longer restricted by the foundation of the house, and forms settlements between the complex landscape. Through the analysis of the structure vocabulary, the relationship between the building monomer and the mountain and the layout of the building settlement, this paper explores the out the path of integrating the abstract landscape environment view into the concrete architectural design, in order to enlighten the modern activation of the traditional residential buildings in northern Guangxi.

There are two problems in the residential area environment design. First,it is disjointed with the city and the district. Abstract:Through in-depth study of the design of new buildings and public facilities in Lushan Mountain Scenic Area,this article discusses its design principles,explains the principles from aspects of guiding ideology,general layout,environmental analysis and building design,and analyzes concrete design methods from four aspects as shape symbol,architectural color,architectural texture and building scale.Finally,it points out that these designs in Lushan Mountain Scenic Area reflect its unique regional features and cultural traditions,which could be used for reference by the design and construction of new buildings and public facilities in other scenic areas.

Abstract:As a national-level traditional village, Shangwucun's economy and tourism continue to develop, which brings many opportunities and challenges to the village. However, it also exposes many problems existing in public space landscape, such as lack of functional structure, lack of landscape interaction, lack of landscape culture, etc. This paper aims to improve the functional complexity of the overall public space landscape, increase the vitality of public space landscape, and strengthen the cultural expression of space landscape by using the three design principles of integrity, participation and region. This will improve the landscape quality of village public space, help the development of rural tourism in Shangwucun, and provide a certain reference for the landscape design of public space in traditional villages.

Abstract:The design ideas, principles, target and characters of the design project for the Shiliupu parcel land of Shanghai by the German SBA Co. are introduced from the perspective of urban design and landscape planning. The SBA plan makes detailed analysis of the surrounding environment, urban space landscape, transportation and so on, and its features and concepts are expounded from several angles. The passenger and vehicle communications in this region, and the transportation link between the parcel land and Shiliupu tourism center and the old city are fairly dealt with. This design pays attention to the development and use of the underground space, and better handles the on-ground and underground spatial connection with the Shiliupu water tourism center.

Abstract:The paper systematically analyzes the characteristic of desert land,existing problems in ecological building and degenerate causation of ecological environment by taking Delingha City in the Chaidamu Basin as an example.It considers that the construction and management should be scientifically planned in line with local conditions and follows the natural law.It develops and utilizes the local plant resources by taking the land adaptability evaluation as breach;meticulous designs the model combining with the local natural conditions and based on the universal methods of inlaying and composition of trees and grasses,especially adopts the inlaying method of lump-belt-fish scales in creativeness on the protection of protophyte for degenerate pasture,increasing both the building effects and ecological function to a certain degree and laying a solid foundation for building Chaidamu desertification pasture.
