From Evolutionary Rationality to Mind Model——on the Approach of Empirical Analysis to the Creation of Institutions

Abstract:This article pays attention to the approach of empirical analysis to the creation of institution, attempting to seek the potential approach to institutional analysis in the future. First of all, the authors discuss the philosophical foundation of the approach of empirical analysis to the creation of institution, and then analyze North and the Hayek’s thought in institutional analysis, in order to discover the theoretical train and developmental course of empirical analysis of institutions. Since the institutional issues involve many complicated factors, based on the critical adoption of some suppositions concerned, we should take the approach of empirical analysis to the creation of institution.
