Abstract:The automatic impedance matching implementation based on searching for the optimal solution is described,and the design of automatic matching system based on ARM7 processor is given.Since the gradient descent search used in automatic impedance matching system has slow convergence and is easy to fall to local optimum value,simulated annealing algorithm is applied to the system here,and the analysis and design process is given.Experimental results show that the algorithm has faster convergence speed and better performance.
Intelligent Inverse Designs of Impedance Matching Circuits with Generative Adversarial Network

Abstract:Impedance matching circuits (IMCs) are crucial modules in radio frequency (RF) front-end components, devices, and systems, affecting the performance of the whole systems. However, the design process of IMCs has to require intense manual interventions with high computational costs. To alleviate this problem, a novel scheme for inversely designing IMCs is presented in this work based on neural network technology. Such IMC inverse design framework consists of two mapping-based deep neural networks (DNNs). The first one is an untrained generative adversarial network (GAN) that maps from the design requirements to the regularized S-parameters curves. The second one is an inversion network that maps from the S-parameters and the target impedance to the designed circuit parameters. With the cascaded GAN and inversion network, an efficient method for designing IMC-based filtering antenna is introduced, which takes about 1/17 the time compared to the traditional EM-based design and optimization methods. Further, three power amplifiers (PAs) with multiple IMCs are inversely-designed based on the proposed framework. In experimental demonstration, the elaborate prototypes are fabricated and measured, where the measured results fully satisfy the demand performance.

Abstract:The impedance matching is an essential part of a RF system in order to avoid reflections and optimize the operation of the generator.The discussion about matching algorithm based on gradient information of reflection coefficient magnitude is made.This paper presents the structure of automatic impedance matching apparatus briefly.To improve the performs of matching algorithm,a new method of automatic impedance matching is introduced.Comparison with both methods is made and result shows that the new approach can dramatically curtail the time of impedance matching.

Abstract:Electrical impedance matching of ultrasonic transducers is important in optimizing the energy consumption as well as guaranteeing equipment safety for ultrasonic systems in both laboratories and industries. The existing solutions usually rely on expensive instruments to conduct off-line impedance measurements and deploying static impedance matching networks for each specific transducer across a target frequency band. Here, we present an initial prototype of an online impedance analysis and matching system (OIAMS). In this system, an improved voltage-current method and a phase-difference method were integrated for online impedance measurement in real time, and an L-type matching circuit with variable components helped to achieve dynamic impedance matching. A feedback protocol was embedded in a microcontroller to adjust the matching strategies based on dynamic measurements, while the whole system was controlled through a software interface developed on a Lab VIEW platform. Online measurement results showed that OIAMS conducted accurate impedance measurements with a relative error within 3.90% for amplitude and 13.11% for phase across the 100% bandwidth of the tested transducers. After matching, the reflected acoustic power of a 1.00-MHz transducer was reduced by over 50%, increasing the generated sound pressure level by over 2.8 dB across its 70% bandwidth.

Abstract:Traditional microwave impedance matching technology is unable to achieve real-time,fast and stable matching for dynamic load.An intelligent impedance matching system is set up to solve this problem.The system integrates three-probe detection technology with three-stub tuner.The reflection coefficient change of dynamic load is detected by the three-probe detector and then the signal is transmitted to a microprocessor.The microprocessor processes the signal and consequently adjusts the three-stub tuner through a stepper motor to stabilize the reflection coefficient in engineering desirable range,so as to realize impedance matching of dynamic load in microwave system.

Abstract:Impedance matching in the high frequency design is a commonly used concept.For the circuits with differentcharacteristics,their matching conditions are not the same.In the pure resistance circuit,when the load resistance is equal tothe excitation source resistance,the output power is maximum.This state is called matching,otherwise known as mismatch.Inorder to realize the integrity of RF transmission and make signal quality improvement like the miracle,the circuit im pedance matching must be done.Matlab simulation is used in this paper to solve the impedance matching problem.A set of algo rithms used for adjusting the adjustable capacitor is designed.A visual Matlab program for the algorithm and simulation is com piled.The feasibility of the algorithm is verified by the program.The mathematical model establishment of RF circuit is intro duced in detail.Two impedance matching schemes for the segmentation adjustment and synchronization regulation was deter mined.The algorithms and emulating results obtained with four different parameters are compared and discussed.The deficiencyof the algorithm and its improvement direction are pointed out.

Abstract:Based on the reliable function and simple design,taking good advantages of the advanced controller and control technology,a loom machine system design based on ARM is presented in this paper,which uses S3CEV40 of EMBEST Company as a centre part and functional models as periphery,making up of the hardware part and composed according to the technical procedure.The IO expandance based on CPLD make the whole system flexible and powerful.Motor driver module is another major component of this system.It adopts ARM chip-based frequency vector control strategy.In software,it servo controls motor in interrupt mode.It is turned out to be reliable in function and simple in implement by practice.

Abstract:The latest multiprocessor platforms are ideal for implementing multi-OS embedded applications. IPC (inter-processor communication) interface makes it possible for a multiprocessor system to easily support multiple subsystems parallel processing. In this paper, we propose a new type of OS-level communication interface designing based-on CMPS (complementary multiprocessor system) and present the primary principles and corresponding driver structure of HP I (host-port interface). Take a single-board embedded multimedia system which was integrated three embedded microprocessors (PXA255, TMS320DM642 and SM501) as hardware platform, detailed description of how implement tasks communication and A/V (audio/video) data transform via HPI between different OS(Linux and muC/OS-II) running on ARM and DSP separately.

Abstract:Abstract An impedance matching network is mandatory between the source and the load to obtain the maximum power transfer in a system. For example, in the plasma processing technology widely used in semiconductor wafer processing, guaranteeing the maximum transference of power is the main goal. This paper presents the problem definition and guidelines for a radio-frequency (RF) impedance matching benchmark. This benchmark system we developed in public domain is useful in studying and evaluating various impedance patching algorithms fairly. The goal is to match the impedance of the source with its complex conjugate of the load in a minimum time. The reflection coefficient is used as an evaluation metric to measure the reflected power, which has to be zero to guarantee the maximum power transfer. Some impedance matching controllers proposed in the literature are tested as sample applications on this benchmark in a fair manner to check and evaluate its robustness and stability performance against different initial conditions, load conditions and perturbations on the impedance matching network control system. We also suggested a novel Feedforward Control (FF) profile generation method with a primitive sample feedback control strategy (proportional-integral (PI) controller) as a baseline reference for the benchmark.

Abstract:The amplitude and phase consistency control level is an important factor affecting the performance of phased array antenna. MEMS phase shifter has important application potential in phased array antenna, but the current MEMS phase shifter device has poor amplitude and phase consistency, making it difficult to integrate directly in phased array antenna system. In this paper, a novel multi-states matching technology for MEMS phase shifter is proposed to overcome the above-mentioned difficulty. To control amplitude fluctuation and phase shift error of phase shifter in the using process, we proposed a general network design method focusing on the given polymorphic S parameter matrix of MEMS phase shifter based on the theory of microwave network. The key of the method is as following: with the help of the mature microwave network synthesis method and the particle swarm optimization algorithm combined by matching circuit parameter optimization, obtain actual S parameter matrixes of two polymorphic matching networks for the corresponding MEMS phase shifter, so as to enhance the amplitude and phase consistency index of integrated application. The simulation results verify the feasibility of the method, and so that we form a technical way to improve the consistency of amplitude and phase of MEMS phase shifter system through polymorphic matching network, which has important theoretical and practical value.

Abstract:A simple and convenient design scheme of electromagnetic flowmeter converter based on ARM was introduced,and the modules include high-impedance analog signal amplifying and processing circuit,ARM microprocessor system,exciting,output,communication and display.The actual fluid experiment shows that when the velocity of flow is higher than 0.4 m/s and linearity correction is used,the precision is 1%.

Abstract:As the use of private protocols becomes popular in distributed data acquisition system,it is urgent to test interfaces of these systems.The interfaces cannot be tested by general communication protocol testing equipments,so a simple strategy of how to develop an efficient custom interface testing system with a testing module based on PC is proposed.In this paper,we focus on the design and implementation of how to realize an interface testing module based on ARM.Analyses of the interface characteristics,basic structure and software processes of the interface testing module,and application method of interface testing with the PC and the interface testing module,are discussed.Experimental results show that the custom interface testing system well meets the testing requirements.This proposes a way to do a rapid development of custom interface testing systems.
