Abstract:Objective: To explore the impact of the construction of a clinical midwifery teaching faculty and the development of an evaluation system under the new nursing model on the current teaching quality. Methods: From July 2022 to March 2023, 10 clinical teaching teachers and 20 midwifery interns from Beijing Anzhen Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University were selected as the subjects of this study. The clinical teaching teachers and midwifery interns were divided into an observation group and a control group, with each group including 5 clinical teaching teachers and 10 midwifery interns. The observation group received daily management and evaluation under the new nursing model, while the control group received management and evaluation under the traditional nursing model. The teaching quality evaluation of clinical midwifery teaching teachers by midwifery interns, the exit exam scores of midwifery interns, and the scores of clinical teaching teachers’ internship lectures and teaching rounds were compared between the two groups. Results: In the observation group, the scores for teaching attitude, teaching skills, and teaching management in the teaching quality evaluation of clinical midwifery teaching teachers were higher than those in the control group. The professional theory scores (91.28 ± 3.64) and overall nursing comprehensive scores (92.56 ± 4.38) of midwifery interns in the observation group were higher than those of midwifery interns in the control group (81.58 ± 2.27 and 80.29 ± 3.33, respectively). The scores for internship lectures (89.32 ± 4.15) and teaching rounds (90.64 ± 5.52) in the observation group were also significantly higher than those in the control group (80.46 ± 3.28 and 81.24 ± 4.38, respectively), and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The management of the clinical midwifery teaching faculty under the new nursing model effectively improved the quality of clinical teaching. It significantly enhanced the teaching effectiveness of clinical teaching teachers and the proficiency of midwifery interns in clinical operations, making it worthy of promotion and use.

Abstract:It reviewed the practice teaching method of undergraduate nurs-ing students in China from aspects of clinical pathway teaching method, standardized patient teaching method,learning based problem,situational teaching method,case teaching method,evidence based nursing teaching method,tutorial system teaching method and teaching model based on team learning.It suggested that in the clinical practice teaching,nursing students as the main body should be emphasized.Combined with China’s national conditions,we should and combine a variety of practical teaching methods,focus on training the clinical thinking ability and creative think-ing ability of nursing students,in order to improve the teaching quality and train practical nursing talents.

Abstract:Classroom teaching is an important part of college training work ,classroom teaching quality assessment is an effective means to promote and guarantee the quality of teaching .In the basis of the practice of diverse classroom teaching quality evaluation in pediatrics department of our hospital dur‐ing 2009 to 2013 ,this paper is aimed to analyze the results of evaluation of teaching by students ,ex‐perts and leaderships ,propose the necessity ,advantages and disadvantages of diverse teaching quality assessment , and the precautions of assessment results applications . Diversification of classroom teaching quality assessment can promote the continuous improvement of teaching level ,adapt to the requirements of students at different levels ,and avoid the single evaluation of teaching .So diverse classroom teaching quality evaluation is worth to promote and apply .

Abstract:Because of the legal regulations restriction and the patients' awareness of rights protection,the current clinical practice for the students of obstetrics and gynecology has encountered unprecedented resistance.To ensure the quality of the medical students' clinical practice,as well as,to cultivate the ability of their clinical operation,simulation education has become an effective way to step out of this dilemma.Nevertheless,the clinical teaching model of obstetrics and gynecology used originally was not very effective.In this respect,we' d conducted a special research and improvement.After two years' teaching practice,it' s proved that the clinical skills of students of obstetrics and gynecology had been improved effectively,meanwhile,it had also laid a solid foundation for the training of qualified doctors as well as for reducing medical disputes.

Abstract:Objective To investigate and analyze the clinical teaching of residents standardized training in Zhejiang University, so as to provide references to improve the quality of residents standardized training. Methods Questionnaires were designed and electronic surveys via WJX software were conducted among residents from six affiliated hospitals of Zhejiang University School of Medicine on management, clinical teaching and assessment of residents. SPSS 19.0 was used to perform the χ2 test of relevant data. Results A total of 799 residents, including 312 males and 487 females, took part in this survey. In terms of satisfaction degree, trained residents had a relatively high satisfaction degree on training base (73.46％), satisfaction degrees of residents from Grade one, two and three were 69.05％, 74.72％and 79.30％, respectively. Satisfaction degree of residents with different identities to training base was social men (85.71％) > staff working in units (74.08％) > professional postgraduates (56.7％). In terms of teaching, 64.45％ residents thought that clinical teachers spent 20％ more time on the clinical teaching than on the daily routine work, 39.42％ residents thought that clinical teachers spent 30％ more and 18.52％ residents thought clinical teachers spent 40％more. In addition, 70.47％residents responded that their teachers revised and instructed the medical history writing more than twice a week; 78.84％ trained residents admitted that all teachers made full preparations for clinical teaching rounds. Besides, the process evaluation of training base was well implemented. Implementation rate of after-department examination and annual examination were 99.37％and 98.50％, respectively. Conclusion Residents of Zhejiang University have a high satisfaction degree on training management and clinical teaching . Homogenized management of training base should be strengthened, and evaluation and feedback should be stressed.

Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical trainee and internship in improving the effectiveness of teaching methods and evaluation of actual capacity.Methods Teaching in medical practice as an entry point to a certain laboratory tests, and gradually in-depth analysis, to stimulate students'thinking and interest in full horizontal linkages in order to improve their ability to analyze problems and practical problem-solving, and analyzed new teaching through questionnaires.Results ①Students of two grade were all very interested on the new teaching mode, but the one in clinical internship were more interesting , there were significant differences between the two groups, P<0.05.②The majority students thought that the new teaching mode had a big help in the ability of acquire knowledge, expanding aspect of knowledge, improving the capabilities of analytical problem and actual work and developing the interesting of learning.③Students of two grade were all recognized and very like the new teaching mode.There were no differences between the two groups, P>0.05.Conclusions New teaching mode is one of popular teaching modes, can stimulate students'interest in learning, expanding aspect of knowledge and improving the actual capacity.

Abstract:Objective To investigate the method and effect of teaching management in clinical practice of obstetrics and gynecology department in eight-year program of clinical medicine students.Method The methods of "fixed-teacher" and "teachers assessment" on the evaluation of teachers' teaching was adopted on 36 students of Class 4, Grade 2004 in eight-year program majoring in clinical medicine at Peking University People's Hospital.Results Teachers with a management evaluation table showed that the average scores of each group were 97.1,98.2, 97.7 and 97.4 respectively and had reached very satisfactory level.Conclusions The methods were conducive to enhance motivation of teachers' teaching.Students and teachers were both active in clinical teaching, timely detecting the problems in teaching and guiding teaching reform in clinical practice and could improve the quality of teaching.According to different stages of the practice, the focus of clinical practice should be appropriately adjusted.

Abstract:Clinical internship is an important part of clinical medicine education.Improving the teaching quality of clinical internship training depends on setting up teaching quality guaranteeing system,which includes teaching inspectors' supervision on the teaching quality of clinical internship,evaluation and feedback from medical students,class observations by the hospital director and department heads;strengthening teacher training before their tenure of teaching;adopting various teaching methods;and strengthening simulated training in interns' clinical skills.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the training effects of obstetric nurses in training center of Shanghai. Methods Totally 63 trainees of Obstetrics & Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University(Shanghai obstetric nurse training center) who received training from December 2012 to September 2015,were investigated by questionnaires,focus group interviews,written and practice examinations,etc. Kirkpatrick's four-level model of training evaluation was used to assess the training effects.Results Five themes were extracted from fifteen focus group discussions,and they were normative,characteristic,frontier,practical and humanistic. Satisfaction rate of trainees towards training schedules was 100.0%;satisfaction rate towards clinical teachers was 96.8%;satisfaction towards practical training environment was 95.2%;satisfaction towards instructional mode and content was 98.4%;and the satisfaction towards examination and evaluation was 100.0%. The total score of obstetric knowledge and skills was (50.83±11.37) before training and was (62.52±8.61) after training (t=-6.508, P<0.05). Within six months after practical training,89.7% of trainees thought that they could apply the learned professional knowledge into clinical practice,and 93.1% of trainees thought that they could apply the learned obstetric skills into nursing practice. Within 12 months after practical training,25 trainees worked as clinical teachers,nine trainees became head nurses,and six trainees implemented the learned new model of obstetric care and techniques into their clinical settings.Conclusions Shanghai obstetric nurse training center provides a resource platform for professional nurses' continuing education. The training improves trainees' obstetric knowledge and skills,and has a positive impact on nurses' actual job performance.

Abstract:Objective:To construct the teaching quality evaluation index system for clinical teachers of undergraduate nursing students based on teaching managers' perspective so as to provide a basis for clinical teaching management of undergraduate nursing students.Methods:From May 2018 to September 2019, the expert enquiry questionnaire on the teaching quality evaluation index system for clinical teachers of undergraduate nursing students based on teaching managers' perspective was developed by the literature review and expert interview. Delphi technique was used to select 20 nursing teaching management experts, 16 of them from 4 ClassⅢ Grade A teaching hospitals in Beijing, 4 of them from a nursing undergraduate university to carry out two rounds of expert enquiry.Results:The initial construction of the teaching quality evaluation index system for clinical teachers of undergraduate nursing students based on teaching managers' perspective included 5 first-level indexes and 30 second-level indexes. The valid recovery rates, expert authoritative coefficients, Kendall coordination coefficients of two rounds of expert enquiry questionnaire were 100%, 0.83 and 0.86, 0.395 and 0.554 respectively ( P<0.01) with the satisfied consistency test results and credible enquiry results. Conclusions:The construction of the teaching quality evaluation index system for clinical teachers of undergraduate nursing students based on teaching managers' perspective is scientifically rigorous. The system has definite evaluation indexes, rational administrative levels, objective and reliable system which could provide a basis for clinical teaching management of undergraduate nursing students.

Abstract:Objective:To compare the teaching effect of mixed mode teaching based on a combination of online teaching and flipped classroom and classroom teaching for “evidence based nursing”in nursing graduate students.Methods:A total of 80 full time students who participated in classroom teaching from September 2014 to January 2015 in Fudan university were taken as control group,another 24 cases of full time students who participated in the mixed mode of teaching at the same period,from eight universities funded by CMB were taken as observation group.Textbooks,lectures,teaching team and assessment methods were consistent.Re-sults:After the course,the students grasping the evidence based nursing knowledge scores in control group and observation group increased significantly;the control group students’attitudes on the value of evidence based care was more positive,but expect score of learning evidence based nursing decreased significantly;in observa-tion group students’attitudes score and expectations score did not change significantly.Covariance analysis indi-cated that excluding the impact of uneven baseline,mixed mode teaching than classroom teaching can improve the self assessment score of students’knowledge of evidence based nursing,attitudes,expectations and abili-ty.Conclusion:The mixed mode teaching can effectively promote the sharing of educational resources,improve the quality of teaching and promote independent learning.
Implementation and Curriculum Evaluation of a Series of Teaching Reforms of "community Nursing": Taking the Third Edition As an Example

Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of the teaching reform of "Community Nursing" in our school in different grades of nursing undergraduates.Methods:A total 174 nursing students in Grade 2009, 2010 and 2013, from School of Nursing at Shanghai Jiao Tong University were selected. Various teaching methods were carried out, including continuously carding teaching content, gradually adopting a community assessment approach, participating in community health education, and developing family health education plans and student-centered teaching methods. At the end of the course, all students completed the self-design curriculum evaluation questionnaires. By comparing the evaluation of teaching reform in different grades, the effect of the teaching reform scheme was analyzed. One-way analysis of variance and student Newman Keuls method were performed to compare the differences among different grades with SPSS 19.0 software.Results:The scores of the five dimensions of "curriculum organization", "teaching content", "teaching form", "teaching evaluation" and "teaching arrangement" were much higher in Grade 2013 and 2010 than in Grade 2009 ( P<0.05). After the teaching reform, students' satisfaction with the curriculum organization was improved; simplifying the teaching content reduced the repetition between courses; implementing the diversified teaching form enhanced students' participation; adopting a diversified teaching evaluation system expanded students' understanding of learning content; integrating different teaching locations and equipment brought real service experience to students. Conclusion:The series of teaching reforms of "Community Nursing" have achieved positive results in adjusting the curriculum framework, focusing on community nursing, improving students' participation, combining varied assessment methods and developing multiple teaching points and have been recognized by the students, so that the results may provide a reference for the next teaching rounds of "Community Nursing" with the fourth edition.
