Abstract:With the fast development of PMP(portable media player) in personal digital domain,various solutions using 32-bit RISC processor have been proposed.One of them based on Em8510 of SIGMA is becoming more and more popular.It has high performance with low power consumption,system cost and great media performance.Us-ing Em8510 to establish the hardware platform and transplanting theμ-Clinux to it,we can success in building a embedded system environment.It is the vsplanting include kernel transplanting,file system building and bootloader development.
