Abstract:A hierarchical framework for product knowledge management was presented to represent,reuse,share and exchange product knowledge.Integrating the contents in 3D models and product design knowledge,the framework is divided into three levels: metadata layer,ontology layer and application layer.Data in the metadata layer is automatically extracted from standard for the exchange of product model data(STEP) files.The metadata layer is used to precisely navigate for product data.Based on a layered product model,the ontology layer is constructed to represent product data in a general and uniform way.By mapping between form-features extracted from 3D models and ontology concepts,a new retrieval mechanism on the application layer bridgeds the gap between semantic-based approaches and case-based approaches.A prototype system was implemented to demonstrate the feasibility and effectivity of the advanced methodology.

Abstract:Ontology is gradually used for knowledge representation recently. It helps computer understand human knowledge more intelligently in intelligent control, knowledge searching etc. In this paper, after given vegetable supply chain model based on our investigation, we proposed the process of constructing vegetable supply chain Ontology. The concepts and their relationships of vegetable supply chain are described in the Ontology framework. Then we formalized the Ontology framework using protege. Classes and properties of vegetable supply chain are all represented using protege. This makes the knowledge of vegetable supply chain express clearly. These methods can also be used to construct other fields Ontology.

Abstract:In order to facilitate the sharing and reusing of assembly process knowledge,the ontology model is established based on summarizing and analyzing a vast amount of the domain knowledge.The specific workflow of knowledge modeling on assembly process is proposed.Taking the gear reducer for an instance,with OWL as an ontology description language and Protégé as an ontology editing tool,the formal description of the knowledge ontology of the reducer is realized.Then,RacerPro is used as an ontology inference engine to ensure that the ontology concept is consistent and the taxonomy is proper.Lastly,the ontology is stored in the relational database to complete the knowledge modeling,which is a foundation for establishing the knowledge system of assembly process.

Abstract:With the rapid development of mobile phone, the users have been increasing sharply, and the knowledge about mobile phone involves more widely subjects and its quantity is greater and larger. As a consequence, the discriminations of recognition are more obviously among the agents related to mobile phone. The organization mode of the unstructured and non-formal mobile knowledge is seriously hampering the knowledge sharing and human-computer interaction. How to make these knowledge be shared and reused is still a difficult problem what the knowledge engineers and semantic web have been facing, therefore, this paper presents the construction of the MO (Mobile Ontology) which lays a solid foundation of sharable and reusable knowledge. Firstly, the mobile ontology base is created by the Protege4.1, which make the descriptions of the concept, attribute, and instance of the mobile knowledge formally, so as to the mobile knowledge can be machine-readable and reasoning-automated. Finally, this paper shows the knowledge retrieval of mobile ontology base based on SPARQL, which is helpful for the designers, repairers and users of mobile to get the knowledge from ontology base. The experiment indicates that the proposed method improve the efficiency and reliability of the knowledge retrieval, and provide the necessary vocabulary for the semantic web of the mobile domain.

Abstract:Combining with Ontology theory and the classification of product design knowledge domain, an OWL Ontology-based product design knowledge model is proposed. Based on this model, Protege is corresponded to establish related domain ontology of product design knowledge. This model is successfully applied to manufacturing product design, and as verified, it's an effective solution to help the manufacturing enterprises shorten product design cycles and improve the product development quality. Furthermore, it's much better for designer to share and reuse product design knowledge.

Abstract:Based on the analysis of knowledge sharing process and way, a three-layer reference object model for supporting knowledge sharing management is developed according to the dual features of knowledge and with the help of object-oriented analysis approach. The framework of knowledge agent, knowledge and knowledge sharing scenario in the model is proposed and designed in detail respectively.Domain of enumerable attributes is also discussed. The model and the framework in this paper are a good reference to develop the knowledge sharing software.

Abstract:This paper catches the knowledge of the automotive fault diagnosis domain, provides a common understanding of the domain knowledge, determines the common vocabularies which are recongnized by the domain, and gives explicit definition of the relations between the vocabularies from different levels of formal module. Using Protégé builds the domain knowledge module, using RacerPro checks the module, and makes the module as the semantics basement of the system. Using Jena API analyses the Ontology module, and combines SPARQL and Rules to query and reason it. © 2010 IEEE.

Abstract:A meta-model-based knowledge modeling method was proposed,which provided unified knowledge description and supported convenient knowledge management system implementation.Object-oriented technique was used to define information objects and knowledge objects within the product design,including their attributes,associations and operations.Information objects were obtained to reveal relationships among information entities by abstracting characteristics of project management information and product design information.Knowledge objects were achieved by connecting the relevant information objects.The knowledge map could be built through association definition between information and knowledge objects,and then realized navigation of dominance knowledge and accumulation of recessive knowledge.The process-oriented knowledge acquisition method was presented,as well as the information objects and knowledge objects were enriched with process progressing.Finally,the application of the proposed method in ProNet project was discussed.

Abstract:In order to promote knowledge sharing and knowledge reuse of scientific research achievements, this paper proposes a knowledge network model which acts as a direct access to the knowledge existed in the achievements. As knowledge network can be treated with a kind of complex networks, this paper then optimizes the primitive knowledge network model by analyzing its network characteristics. Figures are shown to illustrate the characteristics before and after optimization of the model. This paper also formalizes the optimization results for machine understanding and processing. The knowledge network model is suitable for specifying and representing knowledge in scientific research achievements, and its optimization result is machine readable.

Abstract:The experience in object-oriented design of an engineering knowledge repository schema are shared.The knowledge mode focuses on the expression,reasoning and validation of design constraints other than data of primitive types by tradition.The basic design concepts are represented with classes consisting of three compartments,namely,decision properties,performance properties and design constraints.Decision properties are derived from constraints and are primitive data representing the status of design objects.Performance properties calculate decision properties and the domain are bounded by design constraints.Thus constraints are taken as invariants that every object of the class must satisfy.Associations among design concepts are made explicit to address new variables and new constraints that hold the association.By tradition the object-oriented method addresses the horizontal and vertical propagation of data along the as-sociation,hereby association class to accommodate data as well as constraints was proposed,which standed for the association invariants.In addition to the inheritance and Part-Whole relationship,Has-Feature association was proposed.The knowledge repository is illustrated in the context of stamping design knowledge of automobile manufacturing.

Abstract:A knowledge model for knowledge base system in the Web environment is proposed, which includes problem description layer and knowledge layer. A knowledge base is made up of a set of knowledge models. Knowledge models are used to support knowledge representation and reasoning. Visual knowledge modeling tool and visual knowledge service tool based on Web environment realize the construction of knowledge base system in Web environment. The knowledge base system supports the construction of agricultural expert system. By comparison with CommonKADS, it is proved that this method can improve the efficiency of knowledge acquisition, management and maintenance in Web environment. This method also has the reference significance to the construction of the knowledge base system in the Web environment in other domains.

Abstract:Organization should focus on how to implement effective knowledge management so as to improve its core competitiveness under the era of knowledge economy.Introduction of ontology and Semantic Web brought new opportunities for the development and implementation of knowledge management systems.This article,using the methods of model construction and functional analysis,designs the general theoretical framework for the model of ontology-driven knowledge management system and discusses its practical application in CSSCI.The research discoveries that the model of ontology-driven knowledge management system includes three aspects,which is respectively knowledge acquisition based on information processing technology,knowledge organization based ontology as infrastructure,and knowledge applications including knowledge map,knowledge retrieval and knowledge innovation based semantic web as implementation platform.This paper also designs a solution for knowledge management of CSSCI academic resources under the guide of the model working principle,in order to provide effective knowledge services for the academic research and scientific decision-making of CSSCI users.9 figs.34 refs.

Abstract:We are currently designing an object oriented model which describes static and dynamical knowledge in diff{\'e}rent domains. It provides a twin conceptual level. The internal level proposes: the object structure composed of sub-objects hierarchy, structure evolution with dynamical functions, same type objects comparison with evaluation functions. It uses multiple upward inheritance from sub-objects properties to the Object. The external level describes: object environment, it enforces object types and uses external simple inheritance from the type to the sub-types.
