Statistical Analysis on the Papers Published in Sports Science During the Tenth Five-Years

Abstract:1032 papers published in the sports science during tenth five-years were analyzed statistically according to the items of authors, paper carried, quotations, time for holding up manuscripts, distribution of area financial aid for scientific research items etc. Some important data and conclusion were drawn. The papers written in collaboration with others account for 68.31%, the index of which is 2.57, the quoted ave rage of each paper is 11.92, the average time for holding up manuscripts is 8.70 months, the rate of funding covered 26.65% of the average every year of papers published .Teachers of colleges and universities were the important writers for sports science. As for the distribution of area, papers from Beijing were the most. The distribution of authors was unbalanced with apparent regionalization.
